Fruit acid peeling is a special procedure for removing the surface layer of the epidermis using various techniques. Skin cleansing is done to prevent skin aging processes, as well as to correct various cosmetic defects that are manifested due to age-related changes. The procedure, which uses fruit acids (otherwise, AHA acids) and chemicals, is called chemical peeling. Due to direct exposure to the skin of such substances, exfoliation of the upper layer of the epidermis occurs, which activates metabolic processes, the formation of young cells, skin rejuvenation, and toning.

ANA is alpha hydroxy-oxidants, natural biological substances found in many plants. Why is it so popular to use ANA acids? You can list some properties:

- they provide the effect of exfoliation, without irritating the skin, without the need for mechanical action;

- facilitate the penetration of nutrients into the skin, increasing their effectiveness;

- activate skin regeneration;

- bleach the skin;

- can be used for any type of skin.

Skin cleansing with peeling

Fruit acid peeling is a kind of cleaning, in which various fruit acids are used as the main substance : lactic, lemon, glycolic, wine, grape, apple. From the point of view of cosmetic use, these acids are the most common. They allow you to create an effect of silky skin, smooth wrinkles, helps tighten the face oval, maintain a balance of moisture in the skin. Thanks to acids, a number of processes are improving, improving the complexion, normalizing the secretion of the sebaceous glands, as well as cleaning the pores of fat and dust accumulated over a long time.

Many people may wonder how facial peeling works with fruit acids? Here everything is simple: fruit acids help in the process of exfoliation of superficial keratin scales that interfere with physiological processes. In this case, acids allow activating local immunity, after which the skin acquires a pleasant shade, softness, tenderness, silky and freshness. Such extensive use of fruit acids in cosmetology is associated with their rather wide spectrum of action. In this issue, not the last role is assigned to safety - almost complete absence of complications in their use.

Peeling with fruit acids can be recommended for teenage problems with the fat content of the skin associated with hormones, as well as in traces of acne. A dermatologist or a cosmetologist selects the optimal method, the timing of the treatment, and the type of acid used. The end result of one or a number of procedures may depend on the acid concentration and the time of exposure to the skin. Usually, five to ten sessions are prescribed with breaks of seven to ten days. During these sessions, do not expose the skin to the sun. The cleansing regime at this time should be the most sparing.

Peeling with fruit acids also has an antioxidant effect on the skin, allowing neutralizing the negative impact from the environment. The main effect of rejuvenation is to stimulate the synthesis of intracutaneous collagen, as well as the action of specific glycosaminoglycans that have biological activity. These substances also serve as the main components of cosmetics, aimed at combating age-related skin changes.

What is peeling?

We can conditionally separate the peeling into three types: superficial, middle and deep. With superficial fruit acids used to exfoliate the upper layer of the epidermis, which improves skin breathing and blood supply. With mid-peeling, there is a deeper effect, a similar procedure is recommended in specialized salons. Deep peeling is equal in complexity to surgical intervention, it is done only in clinics under general anesthesia.

For cleaning at home, you can recommend an affordable and simple version of a superficial peel. For this, you can use ascorbic, malic or citric acid. Narrow and clean the pores with milky and acetic acids. All these acids can be purchased at pharmacies. To carry out the procedure, you need to take a ten percent solution, a stronger concentration can cause significant damage to the skin. If you do not want to use acid solutions, you can always buy a ready-made mask for peeling.

Usually a few drops of the acid solution are applied to the cleansed and dried skin, excluding the area around the eyes. The exposure time is no more than five minutes. During the procedure, a burning or tingling sensation may appear. After five minutes, wash your skin thoroughly with warm water, then apply a moisturizer. If the skin is red, you can use the infusion of green tea, making a cool compress.

Glycolic peeling

Glycolic peeling deserves special attention, as it is the most common way of cleaning fruit acids. It complexly affects the superficial skin layers, while there is no hyperemia inherent in other methods of peeling. There is no puffiness, pinpoint hemorrhages and other negative consequences. After peeling with this acid, only a little redness is possible, after a few hours. The same effect has peeling with salicylic acid.

In general, it is clear that the peeling procedure is very useful, but before you start it, it is worth consulting with a specialist.
