Muridism is ... The emergence of the Muridist movement in the Caucasus
Islam is considered one of the most extensive world religions, living and thriving in the modern world. Islam in Russia appeared very long ago, back in the 7th century, when the Russians first captured the city in which they preached this religion. Now Islam has many branches, some of which so extol their faith that they are ready to end their lives, just to please Allah.
Sufism
One of the directions is Sufism. However, it is completely the opposite of preaching the full unity of Islam and Allah.
And anyone can practice Sufism, you can be an ordinary worker with a minimum salary and an apartment in Khrushchev, but believe that light always wins and necessarily makes a person better. As soon as Islam appeared in Russia, so did Sufism. However, over time, he lost his historical appearance and became merely a teaching propagating wisdom. The Sufis do not care at all about who told these or other commandments, for them there is neither Moses, nor Christ, nor Magomed. The main thing is that which was given by God to people, the rest is already losing its significance.
Sufi Tarikat
Many of these beliefs, like Sufism, advocate certain ways of purification or reaching a special connection with God. So the Sufi tarikat is a special method of reuniting a person and a deity in which he believes.
Muridism
Muridism is a direction in Sufism, which is an ordinary Sufi tariqat, that is, a means of communicating with the gods. In muridizm there is such belief that a person can improve and reach some stages of perfection. The first of the steps symbolizes the Koran, that is, full observance of the commandments given by Allah to people. This is the so-called "earthly perfection": man lives, rejoices, but does not transgress the divine law. However, above all dogmas and rules, people who preach Muridism have mysticism. It is he who allows to know the truth in the form in which it is presented to God, or rather, to see the truth of God Himself.
The History of Muridism
Muridism, unlike Sufism, did not appear in Islam right away, religion has undergone many changes, or, as it is called, pollution. Perhaps, this doctrine can also be called pollution, because it is not mandatory, but only complements certain canons of the basic religion.
One thing is for sure: Russian Muridism in the Caucasus was born, when in the 17th century one of the Muslims brought there Sufi commandments. Magomed Yaragsky consulted with other servants of Muslim mosques and came to the conclusion that the Sufi commandments are true and only it will save the person and his soul. But not only the salvation of people was significant Muridism for Muslims, Magomed saw in him a salvation for the dying Islam at that time.
And muridism is part of the Sufi doctrine, without which it has no meaning. The elders were sure that because of the pressure of everything Russian, because of the Orthodox religion and the growth of the forces of Russia, the Caucasus began to fade with Islam.
Commandments of Muridism
As in any other dogma, there are the basic tenets of muridism, which must be strictly enforced by those who believe. Muridism can even be called an independent religion, as a person should worship followers and mentors, participate in purifying Islam from infidels, try to spread the Muslim religion throughout the country and do everything to organize an obedient society. In general, muridists are quite patriotic people in the sense that they believe in the unity of their faith and the correctness of their methods of natural selection.
Muridism in our days
The center of this belief is the little known city of Tuba, which is the burial place of the religious mentor of all the Sufis and Muridas Amadou Bamba. This is the only religious figure known to the modern day, which is some authority for all adherents of Islam, but he died in 1965.
Muridism is truly a vast teaching that aims to worship previous teachers and purify Muslim lands from "mud", in other words, from infidels. It is difficult to judge the correctness of this approach, but this number of believers speaks for itself.
