Children's Musical Theater

The Moscow State Academic Children's Musical Theater opened its doors in 1965 year. His first production was the opera Morozko.

The first years of life were very difficult for the theater. Its building was not there, it was necessary to wander around different sites. But it was then that the repertoire included performances that helped the theater win the love of the audience. Most of the productions of that time were created for the music of Soviet contemporary composers: T. Khrennikov, D. Kabalevsky, A. Aleksandrov and many others.

The founder and the first head of the theater was Natalya Sats. She did a lot for her offspring.

In the 70-ies. XX century, the troupe began to actively tour.

In 1979, the theater finally found its own house, which was built specifically for him. Natalia Sats managed to achieve this.

Since 2010, the troupe is led by George Isahakyan (laureate of the Golden Mask). Thanks to him, the troupe became more popular with the premieres.

Today the repertoire of the theater includes more than 30 productions of different genres, designed for both children and adults.
