How to make a mural yourself

An excellent way out of the situation can be a homemade fresco. It's not so difficult to accomplish it with your own hands. What is the procedure for making such a decor? In fact, there are quite a lot of technologies for creating an "ancient" fresco. The easiest way is to buy special thin napkins, with images already printed on them. In addition to them, you will need to buy acrylic paints and PVA glue.

Previously, the place where the fresco will be in the future is limited to an adhesive tape. Then the wall is painted with acrylic paint. Her tone should be in harmony with the color of the napkin itself. Drying this paint very quickly - 10-15 minutes. The pattern from the napkin is not cut out, but it is pulled out so that the edges turn out to be uneven. This will make the fresco as realistic as possible. Then, on the back of the figure, two protective layers are removed, applied to the wall and smeared with glue directly on top. PVA will impregnate a thin material, and the image will be securely fixed on the surface.

At the next stage, the picture is given an invoice. To do this, putty is used. On the wall around the image, it is applied using a conventional sponge. After the putty has dried (about an hour), two layers of acrylic paint are applied to the surface of the wall, also around the pattern - darker and lighter. In principle, the fresco is ready. However, if you want, you can also "grow old". To do this, on the wall - until the paint dries - pass through the same sponge, but the reverse, hard side. The surface must be treated until plaster is seen on it in places.
