Modern forms of production organization

Modern manufacturing enterprises should possess not only high technical equipment and qualified personnel, but also contain progressive forms of production organization, rationally using all capacities, taking into account the prevailing market situation and the ability to react promptly and at all times to all its changes.

It is impossible to imagine today the productive forces of any country without applying and using the basics of management. With its help, the company conducts constant analysis of the efficiency of using the enterprise's potential, and already on the basis of the data it produces competent organization of the production process, plans all stages of its development, organizes motivation of personnel and potential consumers, conducts timely monitoring at all stages of production and other communication activities.

The task of a qualified management team at the stage of organizing or reorganizing production is to develop a policy for its development. This process begins with the definition of the most rational form of organization of production. There are several classical forms of production organization:

  1. Specialization. As a rule, these are enterprises that specialize in the production of homogeneous or similar products. This form of organization of production provides for a highly specialized direction of the enterprise, the more complex the production, the higher the level of specialization it provides.

Specialization is divided into several types. Technological specialization is focused on the performance of certain operations within the same production. For example, a foundry.

Subject specialization is the concentration within the framework of one production at the output of one type of finished product. For example, a tractor plant.

The specialization specializes in the production of parts or individual parts of the finished product in one enterprise. For example, a tire factory.

  1. Co-operation. Enterprises of this form of production organization are created for the links between industries and enterprises. The main consumers of their products are enterprises of a specialized form of production.
  2. Diversification. The form of organization of production, different from the specialization, combines a wide variety of activities, with a large assortment of products.
  3. Concentration. The form of organization of production at several adjacent enterprises.
  4. Combination. The most difficult for management form of organization of production, requiring the connection within the same enterprise of different industries, which must be linked together by a well-established process of interaction.

Having determined the form of production organization, an effective management team should clearly identify all production functions, taking into account the technological processes. Define the development strategy of the enterprise and provide all key managers with specific tasks to implement the chosen production policy. In simple words, the functions of organizing production in any type of activity are reduced to obtaining the maximum result by minimum financial and labor costs.

A very important condition, which must be taken into account among the main ones in the initial definition of the tasks of the enterprise, is the territorial organization of production. Managers of the company must correctly assess all the features of the production area, its key points and the possibilities for their solution. In addition to the availability of infrastructure and its capabilities, it is still necessary to assess suppliers and potential customers in the region.

With all the differences in volumes and technological level of production, the main points of competent and highly effective management remain the same.
