Modern apron for kitchen from MDF
An apron for kitchen designers is called the vertical part of the wall between the hanging cupboards and the table top. The main requirement, which is presented to him - practicality and convenience in care. It is necessary that he washed well, was not very brandy, resistant to temperature changes and chemical detergents.
The kitchen apron from MDF is not as thermo-resistant as, for example, glass. Therefore, it is more suitable for owners of electric cookers. If you have a gas cooker installed, the apron should be protected additionally. To do this, its lower part, which is directly adjacent to the cooking surface, should be covered with a strip of stainless steel 10 cm wide.
The kitchen apron from MDF can be decorated with any image. This is done in two ways:
- Photo printing on self-adhesive film and roll on MDF;
- UV-photo printing on the surface of the apron.
In style, aprons for the kitchen can be divided into four groups:
- a neutral apron for kitchen from MDF (inconspicuous, quiet);
Such samples have been in demand for many years. Beautiful, humble, universal, practical.
- a bright apron will give the kitchen a color and add mood;
- the contrasting apron will not allow to merge into the color of the furniture with the walls;
- apron for kitchen from MDF, as an ornament, with a bright pattern applied.
This element of the interior not only protects the walls from soot, moisture and pollution - it may well become almost the main decoration of the kitchen interior. Beautiful, stylish finish of the wall between the cabinets and the table top allows you to use the most modest furniture, as it perfectly animates the space.
An apron made of MDF, the price of which is very affordable, has some drawbacks - the effects of chemicals and water over time can disrupt the original appearance of the panels. They begin to retreat and sag. But all the shortcomings of this material are more than offset by the ease of dismantling. You can change it as often as needed.
Experienced designers advise to be bolder in their choice when decorating the kitchen. Try to move away from traditional materials (tile, plastic). We are sure that all your experiments will be successful.
