Metro Kotelniki: the long-awaited opening is planned for the end of 2013

Comfortable living in a metropolis is impossible without a developed network of public transport. Moscow - is no exception, and the movement on it by private car every year becomes more difficult. The city is growing rapidly, active construction of residential buildings outside the Moscow Ring Road is being conducted. In many areas, the division of Moscow-Moscow region is very conditional. One example of such a neighborhood is the Novokosino district and the city of Reutov, where in September 2012 the Novokosino station began operating.

The idea of building a subway outside the capital in the nearest Moscow region no longer looks fantastic. Extension of existing lines, the emergence of new ones, including the second roundabout. According to the promises of the Moscow authorities, by 2020 the Moscow metro will change beyond recognition. The grounds for not believing these assurances yet, active construction in various parts of the city is being developed, and the works are not limited to just enclosing the territory of the future station with a fence. In particular, work began on the metro line in Kotelniki. The station of the same name should be opened at the end of 2013 and will help to significantly simplify the local residents road to the center of the capital.

Metro Kotelniki - the history of the project

The idea to build a station in the city of Kotelniki near Moscow was born in 2010. Within the framework of the project, it was decided to create a joint transport hub that would include a bus station intercepting a parking lot, a subway stop and a shopping center. The construction of Kotelniki metro station within the complex will be one of the steps that are planned to be taken to integrate the transport system of the capital and its satellite cities.

The project was approved in 2011, and in accordance with the decree adopted by the Moscow Government in May 2012, a segment of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line should be put into operation in late 2013. Completion of the construction will be marked by the opening of two stations - Zhulebino and Kotelniki. The adoption of such a decision shifted the deadlines for the completion of works for an earlier period, since they were originally planned for 2014.

At the end of the third quarter of 2012, work began on the preparation of the site for the construction of the Kotelniki metro and tunneling in her direction. In April 2013, it remains to pass 150 meters underground from 850.

Metro Kotelniki - difficulties

Some time ago in the press, rumors were actively discussed about the possible postponement of the completion of construction to later ones, due to the fact that certain difficulties arose in his course. Firstly, there are problems with the registration of the land plot allocated for the station. Secondly, during the construction process, it became necessary to resettle several residential buildings that interfere with the construction.

So, including, by officials (deputy capital of the city policy on urban policy Marat Husnullin), it was suggested that the deadline will be postponed until the end of 2014.

However, after a very short time, a refutation was made from the lips of the Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government Anatoly Nanosov, and he assured the public that all issues, including organizational issues related to the construction of the Kotelniki metro station, are being solved on time and the facility will be delivered on time.
