Methodical development of an open lesson

Preparation for the lesson, educational or extra-curricular activities for the teacher is one of the important stages in the process of education and upbringing. After all, depending on what the lesson will be, what programs and forms will be used, what didactic material will be used in the preparation and conduct of the lesson, the result depends, that is, whether the teacher will be able to achieve all three tasks of teaching-to present new, useful, educational information, to develop And educate the child's personality.

The methodical development of an open lesson is a sample, a lesson manual that practically and theoretically reveals the applied programs, methods and means of teaching, modern technologies in accordance with the theme and age-related psychological and physiological characteristics of students. Thematic developments can be worked out for lessons, extracurricular and educational activities, new programs and methods of teaching, program modules, etc. They can be both individual and collective.

Each lesson is a thorough preparation of the teacher. Particular importance in professional development and career growth is played by the so-called open lesson. An activity in which the teacher shows his skills to colleagues, teachers of the city or region and methodologists on the subject.

Methodical development of an open lesson, an educational or extra-curricular activity should begin long before the appointed day and requires a lot of strength, knowledge and skills of the teacher. The teacher should carefully choose the topic of the lesson, determine the purpose of the methodological training, study the mass of psychological and pedagogical information, as well as methodological literature on the topic, build a lesson plan and find the necessary and most effective ways and methods of teaching, different pedagogical technologies.

There are specially developed requirements that are required for methodical development of open lessons, educational or extra-curricular activities:

  1. Correspondence of methodological development to the topic and objectives of the lesson.
  2. Preparation must necessarily have a novelty, be relevant.
  3. In methodological development, effective methods of teaching should be used, methodical methods ideally promote the goal of an open event. Visualization of the material is also desirable.
  4. The use of technical means of training - video, audio equipment, the Internet.
  5. The material of an open event should be clearly and simply stated.

Methodical development of an open lesson should not remain only a development. It must be held. Teachers necessarily discuss and negotiate the occupation.   If during the open lesson the students showed knowledge of the material, fixed new material and received an emotional charge, then this lesson reached its goal and was correctly methodically developed.

Methodical development of extracurricular activities has the same construction plan, namely the relevance of the topic, the purpose of the event. But the teacher should remember exactly the educational purposes of the lesson. Therefore, the use of gaming technology, communication between students, competitions and quizzes will help create an atmosphere of interaction and friendship, to achieve the intended goals.

Methodical development of an educational event can be a separate preparation for the next lesson on different cognitive topics. But often educational tasks are included in the construction of open lessons or out-of-class thematic events.

Methodical development of an open lesson, extra-curricular or educational activities is an example of a teacher's qualification, an assessment of his methodical work, knowledge and skills.
