The drug "Makmior complex" is a vaginal candle, having a soft gelatinous shell. Candles are ovoid in shape, inside of them is an oily yellow suspension. Their shell consists of gelatin, glycerol, ethylparahydroxybenzoate sodium, sodium propylparahydroxybenzoate, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow. The medicine is also available in the form of a vaginal cream.

The main active substances, which includes the drug "Makmior complex", are nifuratel and nystatin, and auxiliary - dimethylpolysiloxane AK 1000. The drug is an antiprotozoal, antibacterial and antifungal drug that has a local effect and is used in gynecology.

Nifuratel is active against a number of bacteria, as well as protozoa and fungi.

Nystatin is an antifungal antibiotic and belongs to the group of polyenes. In the cell of fungi, it binds to the sterols, with a violation of its permeability, and this, in turn, leads to the death of this cell.

This drug is used only as a local drug for the treatment of venereal and gynecological diseases.

For 8 days at night, inject one candle (after menstruation can be re-treated). To have the maximum effect, the drug should be injected into the upper part of the vagina. If there was a need for treatment of the child, then in this case the candles are not used, but the cream is used.

Vaginal cream is applied in the morning and in the evening also for 8 days. In the vagina it is injected with a special applicator with a graduation. Since the applicator has a special nozzle, there is no damage to the hymen.
