Making the dough

We begin to create with the preparation of everything necessary. The main components of the test are flour and salt. Usually they are taken in a 1: 2 ratio. So, for 2 glasses of flour you will need 1 glass of salt. Mix this dry base, add water. This amount of components will require approximately 125 ml of liquid.

Start mixing the steep dough. If it still sticks to your hands even after shaking, add a little flour. If you have shifted it, pour a little water. The result should be a steep elastic dough that does not stick to the walls of the dishes and to the hands.

If you are satisfied with the color of the resulting material, you can immediately make a panel of salted dough. If you need color material, use gouache. Cover it with a slice of dough, stir it well. Then paint the next test portion in a different color. To keep your hands clean, put on rubber gloves.

If you do not immediately make a panel of salted dough, cover the plastic material with cellophane. So the mass will not wither. After preparing the dough, roll it on the board on which you will shape. Then the fun begins.

Panel for memory

If your baby has not grown out of diapers, capture this period, creating an original panel of salted dough.

Roll out the dough on a board in a layer 1-2 cm thick, giving it the desired shape. The next step is to attract an assistant. Bring the rolled dough to the child's leg so that it can leave its mark. Carefully attach the baby's leg to the test helper can.

Making flowers

We continue the master class. The panel from the salted dough is decorated further. From a piece of dough, roll the tourniquet, make on it diagonal parallel notches. Place the tourniquet horizontally on the top of the basket. In the same way, but before rolling out this strip of dough, make a handle, attaching it to the top of the basket vertically.

To make the leaves for the flowers, first color the dough in green. Put a leaf, ripped from the tree, with its face on a flat surface, sprinkle it with flour. Attach a piece of dough to it, press it down with your finger, so that the dough covers the entire surface of the sheet.

To make a flower, roll 4-5 small pieces of white dough from the white dough, give them a drop shape, slide it in your hand to make thin petals. So that they become corrugated, press the grooves with the back side of the knife.

Place a thin layer of dough over the basket, giving it a semi-circle shape - we will fasten the flowers to this base.

Attach to the resulting basis three green leaves of dough, and on top - four or five petals, laying them out in the form of a flower. Make several colors with sheets to make them look beautiful from the basket.

Color everything with watercolors to your taste. You can make the core black to give the flowers volume, and the petals - pink, lilac. Dry the picture on the battery or in the sun.

New Year's motifs - lamb

Make the symbol of 2015 - lamb - it's easy. Take a piece of dough, decorate it in the form of a thin oval. On top of the side, attach the animal's head, from the bottom - 4 legs.

Now you need to make wool curls. You can paint them on the animal's body with a wooden stick or roll small sausages out of the dough and twist each in the form of a curl.

Make the animal an elongated muzzle, four legs and a hole in the upper back to thread the tape. Then dry the lamb in the oven or on the battery. Snowman

If you want to quickly make a panel of salt dough with your own hands, you can dazzle the funny face of a snowman. To do this, prepare a plastic mass, wrap it in cellophane, remove it for an hour in the refrigerator.

Remove the base, sprinkle it with flour, roll it with a rolling pin. Give the snowman's head a thick pancake shape.

Take a piece of dough, add a little orange paint to it, mix it, mold the nose of the snowman. To the remaining test, add a little black paint. Roll the circles out of it, from which the mouth and the eyes of the character will form.
