She is the president of Ashley Limited, which has been involved in the mining of raw materials in India, Brazil, Gabon, South Africa for many years and supplies it to enterprises in the CIS and Eastern Europe. From there they export finished products (pig iron, ferroalloys, etc.) to Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, China.

The company supplies mainly iron and chrome ore, coke, metallurgical bauxites. But its strategic direction is African manganese ore. Ashley Limited is the world's second largest importer of manganese ore.

Women-leaders in its industry, really, it is not enough. Despite her former secular eccentricity, in a business where non-public metallurgists are turning multibillion-dollar deals, she has a reputation as an unbending, absolutely reliable partner.

Believing the female intuition, she did not hope for the "benefits" of domestic privatization, but found her place in the overseas business, where she did not have to "push" with the broad-shouldered "boys in jackets." Over the ocean, she was more in demand than in her native country.

When she is called a strong woman and asked if this is a compliment to her, Marina unequivocally replies that this is a statement of fact. She prefers to shape herself around reality in accordance with her own ideas.
