Kuzmina Marina: biography, private life

She burst into the Moscow beau monde swiftly, like a meteor, and just as quickly and suddenly disappeared. Flickered, leaving behind rumors and gossip, and evaporated, as soon as it felt right, becoming completely inaccessible to the cunning radar secular press.

She always did this: she took decisions sharply and irrevocably, especially not caring about what kind of opinion will develop among others. So she does now. Of course, she is worried about the opinion of her close people. But, by and large, in her words, Kuzmina Marina knows what society is and what the price of a ticket is.

Malakhov: "My favorite blondes"

In the first half of 2000, except that the lazy did not take part in the discussion of the loud novel of two "stars" - multi-millionaire Marina Kuzmina and popular TV presenter Andrei Malakhov.

The history of the relationship between this brightest couple was legendary. Later, when the wounds healed, the unexpectedly abandoned diva of the former lover expounded in his new book his interpretation of their relationship.

"I could not buy"

Kuzmina Marina showered the famous showman with gifts of fabulous prices, arranged romantic vacations in different parts of the world, opened for the beloved the world of luxury and wealth. He willingly answered with lovely gifts, tolerated her eccentric quirks and ... was burdened by life "at someone else's expense."

The novel ended swiftly, like everything she did. Kuzmina Marina struck out her young lover from her life, and threw out their common photos from the car window onto the road ...

The famous presenter explained their gap by the fact that the woman "could not buy it" ...

Who was helpful to whom?

Idle gossipers do not bypass the attention of the rich and famous. The couple were often asked uncomfortable questions about how many years Kuzmina Marina is older than her lover, is she really so rich, why did the gap occur and how did they both survive him, and who, after all, was truly useful?

Andrei answered press questions with the dignity of the diplomat: evasive about the former beloved, sincerely about himself. For him, the gap was excruciating. He was very serious about Marina and was determined to live with her all his life.

Marina commented on their gap and, at the same time, her sudden abandonment of publicity in seven years, in 2014. She remembers Andrew with great warmth, it was really close to her man. If she had a different character, Marina thinks, things could have turned out differently. A secular life by the time she was ... just "disgusted".

Someone calls them their novel by the agreement "on joint promotion", according to which "lovers" mutually used each other: she showed him the world, he "let her" on the pages of secular chronicles.

Other people's guesses and fictions can not be forbidden, as you will not forbid the existence of history. For Marina Kuzmina all this has long been "covered with water".

She now has a new life, a new home, new problems and interests. And only Marina herself remained the same. Nearly...

Businessman

Then, in the mid-2000s, her mind-boggling outfits, her hard-headed, truly Russian, night-time spirits in a company of the same as her, unattainable and incomprehensible to the common man, the rich and famous, her scandalous connection with "the most popular" TV host , Which ended so deplorably - all this, thanks to the press, was the property of the general public.

But very few people knew that the next morning after a noisy party, while the rest of the funers fell asleep and came to, Marina dumped the guise of the "Bacchante" and turned into a real businesswoman. Gathered and tidy, in a business suit, with a strict hairstyle, at nine she already held regular talks.

On the attitude towards work

About her guesswork, wrote that her very male and very successful business she created, thanks to a rich inheritance either from her husband, or from a former lover - a Colombian drug lord.

She herself calls the business games of adult children, which should not be divided into games "for girls" and "for boys."

As she has repeatedly confessed to journalists, she personally very much likes what she does. And it's not about the material component. She likes the process itself. And she likes it very much in this process.

She does not know examples where a truly successful business has been created solely on a calculation basis. A real success comes when a person loves his work and gives it to him completely.

"The Iron Lady"

Marina Kuzmina's business is connected with heavy and non-ferrous metallurgy. She is the president of Ashley Limited, which has been involved in the mining of raw materials in India, Brazil, Gabon, South Africa for many years and supplies it to enterprises in the CIS and Eastern Europe. From there they export finished products (pig iron, ferroalloys, etc.) to Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, China.

The company supplies mainly iron and chrome ore, coke, metallurgical bauxites. But its strategic direction is African manganese ore. Ashley Limited is the world's second largest importer of manganese ore.

"I work with metal"

Women-leaders in its industry, really, it is not enough. Despite her former secular eccentricity, in a business where non-public metallurgists are turning multibillion-dollar deals, she has a reputation as an unbending, absolutely reliable partner.

She is proud of the respect that these "strong businessmen and right men" enjoy.

Of course, once because of her wayward freaks in the light of a colleague, they looked at her like a white crow. But over time they reconciled, realizing that in business she was a stone wall.

Like many who burned during the default in 98th and lost confidence in the stability of the domestic economy, its capital is concentrated on the accounts of foreign banks.

She traveled on business trips to Latin America, Asia, and Africa. She visited Korea, China, Japan, discovered new, completely "deaf" corners: in one of the Indian states she met people who do not eat meat and do not drink alcohol, do not know what electricity is. Men crush the rocks there manually, with the help of huge hammers, and women collect ore in baskets and on their heads demolish it in dump trucks.

She had to live in places where, under the conditions of incredible heat, three bottles of water were given for a day, which could either be drunk, or washed, washed, and then drunk ...

According to Marina, she has more flight hours than some flight attendants, on average 1-2 business trips per week. Because of her daughter, who is already sixteen, Marina tries to reduce travel to a minimum. Its top managers, if necessary, can always replace it. But she tries to look into everything personally. Marina does not believe in business, which is done by managers. Business must be thoroughly known and done by yourself.

Marina Kuzmina: biography. As the Steel Was Tempered?

She was born in a military family, by education a philologist (diploma of an interpreter at the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages).

Career began in the early 90's as an interpreter in a major Japanese metallurgical company.

According to the rules of Japanese business, as a secretary, she relied on a chair without backrest and armrests. Marina remembers that sitting on such a chair was very uncomfortable. Perhaps the desire to change the seat to a more comfortable one was one of the incentives for her career growth: in the course of time, armrests and a backrest appeared, then she moved to the leather chair of the right hand of the head of the department. Make a career in the Japanese business structure to a foreigner, especially a woman, is very difficult. She remembers the work of the Japanese as a heavy but very good school: I've visited both coal mines and blast-furnace shops.

Further events developed rapidly. The country began a great redistribution of property. "Red directors" were replaced by tough "boys in crimson jackets," next to which the Japanese had nothing to do.

In the conditions of complete confusion, as the then Russian business seemed to her Japanese leaders, she opened her own transport company. Having enlisted the support of Japanese partners - former teachers and leaders, started importing raw materials to Russia and Ukraine.

Believing the female intuition, she did not hope for the "benefits" of domestic privatization, but found her place in the overseas business, where she did not have to "push" with the broad-shouldered "boys in jackets." Over the ocean, she was more in demand than in her native country.

Freedom to remain yourself

When she is called a strong woman and asked if this is a compliment to her, Marina unequivocally replies that this is a statement of fact. She prefers to shape herself around reality in accordance with her own ideas.

That's what she is - Marina Kuzmina. It is not easy to find photos from a personal archive, but in our article they are.

The most important person in life for her was and remains a daughter.

People who would like to call for help in difficult times, Marina does not have. She basically always cope with their problems, preferring to bring close relatives only positive and joy.

Love, Marina believes, is the best thing that happens in a woman's life. But the question of the presence in her life of a "gentleman" never bothered her: when necessary, they appear.

She always lives in the present moment - both in her personal life and in business, from one present moment to the next, she does not adjust herself to other people's priorities, she appreciates the opportunity to be truly free - to remain herself under any conditions.

When asked by journalists about the future, Marina answers that in the future she sees only business: "There will be business - there will be future".
