Almost any freshwater predator is caught on the Carolina rigging unusually easily. To do this, it is sufficient to properly prepare the tackle, to choose a suitable place for fishing and to throw a fishing pole. On the pike the length of the leash from the line can be 0.8-1 m. The hook must have a Z-shaped forearm. The most effective way of posting this gear is uniform. After throwing it, they let it sink to the bottom, after which they wind the fishing line on the reel at a smooth pace. Since this gear has a rather heavy sinker (up to 30 grams), the spinning rod should be quite powerful. Biting on the Carolina rigging is similar to the biting of trolls. It can be a double or single push, sudden gravity or pull. For pike, the bait is chosen to be larger than for small predators. At the same time, its coloring practically does not matter.
