The biography of Leonid Golovanov is closely connected with his current profession of automobile journalist. His path to journalism was not entirely ordinary. Leonid Golovanov and Bogushevskaya together brought up two sons, one of whom was from her first marriage. Leonid constantly went to car "test drives" and often took the elder, Artemy, with him. Sometimes they took Irina.
