Irkutsk relay plant, its structure

OJSC "Irkutsk relay plant" is a research and production enterprise for the development and manufacture of switching products. The list of products includes relays for various purposes, sockets, connectors, switches, medical equipment. It is included in the list of strategic industries in Russia.

Historical reference

The activities of the Irkutsk relay plant began with the production of dry batteries for field telephones. In 1934, the production of anode batteries was organized on the site of a repair shop. During the war years, they were extremely necessary for the operation of communication systems and radio stations. A significant place in the volume of production was occupied by parts for mines.

In the 1940s and 1960s, production was located in a small area in old 1-2-storey buildings in the center of Irkutsk. Later the plant expanded, new spacious buildings were built. Actually, the release of relay technology was mastered in 1956, the profile of the enterprise has survived to this day. Today, the Irkutsk relay plant is on the list of strategic facilities of the country. In the perestroika years, the administration managed to keep the plant afloat by the enormous efforts of the administration.

Production

In the middle of the 2000s, a great update of the technological process took place, modern equipment appeared in the shops. In 2006, a scientific center was set up at the Irkutsk relay plant, whose task is to develop new types of products. Experts of the center traveled half the country in search of new customers. If business ties were established with the military departments for a long time, civil companies had to convince them of the advantages of working with the Irkutsk plant.

Today, a significant volume of orders come from the enterprises of the elevator industry, railway workers. Some of the products are imported to the CIS, Europe. Production

The basis of the products is the switching elements traditional for the Irkutsk relay plant:

• Relay: sealed low-current, shrouded common industrial, multi-contact open, multi-contact in the casing.
• Sockets series "KS".
• Connectors: combined, tape, radio frequency, transitions.
• Switches low-frequency series "MPN".

Recently, innovative miniature coaxial coaxial connectors with a working frequency of 40 GHz with snapping system SMP are being developed. On their basis, the manufacture of cable assemblies with various types of connectors is made at the request of the customer. In the production of this critical element, each product is tested for electrical strength, insulation resistance, and frequency band losses.

Also new products are waterproof low-frequency switches of the "MPN" type. They are necessary for switching AC and DC circuits.

Medical equipment

Since 1982, the IRZ under the auspices of the Ministry of Health has been developing and releasing simulators of the Vitim series that do not have world analogues. The company has developed unique technologies that allow it to practice skills in providing first aid to the victims. Today the factory employees offer the "Vitim" simulators of the third generation. The products were awarded many times and were awarded with diplomas of domestic and international forums, competitions, exhibitions. When it is created, invaluable help is rendered by physicians from the Irkutsk Medical University.

At the moment, 12 modifications are made. The complexes are equipped with microprocessor sensors, increasing the accuracy of the assessment of the actions of rescuers, doctors and ordinary people who decided to learn how to properly provide first aid. Depending on the model, 3 to 22 resuscitation programs are laid in Vitim. A feature of the simulators is the visualization of injuries and pathological conditions, which allows you to more accurately assess their actions and understand where mistakes are made.

At this stage the enterprise accumulates technical and technological experience in the conditions of general automation, robotization and computerization. Japanese and German machines for new products were purchased. The very principle of work is changing from large-scale production, when the same products were replicated to a research and production enterprise. In the first place comes a kind of fusion of science, high technology and, in fact, production.

IRZ consists of a scientific and technical center and workshops:

Management structure of Irkutsk relay plant

The joint-stock company "IRZ" is managed by the Board of Directors. In 2017, its composition was approved: AE Dimov, SM Zhigunov, VS Zavyalov, VM Kiryukhin, OL Kostyukovsky, VN Maksimenko, LA Fedorovich. The Audit Commission includes three members: GA Ermakov, EP Zavyalov and O. Osokin. The general director of the enterprise is Viktor Nikitovich Maksimenko.
