In the pursuit of happiness: action is ...

Fyodor Tyutchev correctly noticed that a man can not foresee how his word will respond. Nobody knows what will happen to his deed. And do we always understand that we have done the right thing? And what does this word actually mean? Deeds are an integral part of human life, so it is worth understanding their features and what they are.

What is an act?

Under the act imply a certain action, committed by goodwill. Actions - this is a person's choice, the content of which determines its legitimacy and morality.

Also, an act refers to a certain form of behavior of the individual, where the choice of goals and methods for achieving them is done. Sometimes such a tactic may run counter to public norms.

Thus, it can be noted that actions are conscious actions that are evaluated as moral self-identification of a person, manifested in his attitude to people, society and nature.

Components of the act

Each act consists of several components:

  • Motive. That which directs a person to perform a certain action.
  • Goal. Each act pursues a specific goal. The peculiarity of such a goal is manifested in its influence on the interests of other people.
  • The subject of the transformation. Every act has an effect on the personality of the person or his environment, which distinguishes him from the action.
  • Facilities. That is, the ways by which a certain action is performed: word or deed.
  • Process. The very act.
  • Result. Changes that have occurred to a person or his environment.
  • Evaluation. Correspondence of the result to the initial motives.

Actions are not just actions performed by a person every day, but cases that have certain motives and influence the individual or society.

The problem of morality

When it comes to actions, the problem of morality always comes to the forefront. What is a moral act? This is a responsible and conscious action that does not affect the free will and interests of other people.

In life, the concepts of morality and morality are inextricably following one another. If we talk about morality, then this is the side of existence that is connected with human actions, practical and real action. Watching how others act, a person forms for himself a certain rule of behavior, which can be called morality.

Moral action always has a certain moral value. It is determined by the motives and results of the perfect action.

The Power of Moral Norms

In order to understand the moral value of an act, it is necessary first to determine, under the influence of which morality it was committed. Morality happens:

  • "Good". Includes such concepts as respect, kindness, sympathy, understanding, caring.
  • "Evil". Based on the definition of selfishness and selfishness.

And only the norms of morality can show a person that one should be guided by "good" morality. Realizing that immoral actions are condemned by society, a person feels the need to act honestly, be faithful, respectful attitude to elders, act tactfully, deliberately and correctly. Therefore, a moral act is an action that has a special moral value and is positively perceived in society.

This is the peculiarity of moral norms: to show a person what is good and what is bad.

Man is his actions

Actions and people - these two words are inextricably linked. In life, you always have to make decisions, make choices or do things. And being in close social interaction with other people, a person always influences their destinies.

Making important decisions, wishing to find happiness and achieve the desired, we sometimes forget about the existence of others. Guided by the "evil", selfish morality, we act contrary to moral laws.

And not only can things affect the environment. An uncomplicated attitude to the problems of others, spiritual stinginess, unwillingness to make any decisions and perform actions are also actions, those based on laziness, apathy and indifference. This line of behavior can also be called immoral acts, as this has a negative impact on others.

But that's not all, even a word is an act. How can one simply remain silent and turn away when someone needs words of support. It is easy and impunity to offend or humiliate without even noticing it. And how nevertheless it is difficult to find sincere words of comfort or praise. Behind every word spoken, too, is an act. And often such an action means much more than an action.

Behind each person follows an endless string of his actions and words. Some of them can be called respectable deeds, some do not deserve even a little attention, and certain actions can be defined as immoral behavior. However, you should not blame for this, because every motive is based on a certain motive. And always the motive is connected with one goal - to be happy.
