Igor Stasevich was born on October 21, 1985 in Borisov. He was fond of football since childhood. I played in the courtyard and at the physical education classes at school. His father was a fan of football and decided to send his son to the children's and youth sports school number 2. Igor trained in a local club and participated in amateur competitions. His coach Victor Matusevich drew attention to the abilities of the young man. At the age of seventeen, Igor is admitted to the football club "BATE". He plays in a double. The new coaching staff immediately draws attention to the prospective player. Igor's skills are growing every day. Two years later he made his debut in the championship of Belarus.

In 2010 Igor Stasevich moves to the Russian club "Volga". Together with him for just a season the team manages to break into the Russian Premier League. After the end of the season he returns to Belarus. He plays in "Homel" and for thirty-two matches scores just five goals. Next year, again changing the club, this time Igor goes to the capital's "Dynamo". Plays on the position of the attacking midfielder. Despite the unsuccessful two seasons, Stasevich re-opens, at first he scores a lot and helps the team.
