How to know your blood group - tips

The division of blood into four different groups occurred not so long ago. Around 1901, Karl Landsteiner, who later became a Nobel Prize winner, managed to distinguish the first three - A, B and O, which became fundamental for the entire medicine. The fourth group was discovered later only because it is rare enough for Europeans. And in 1928 the official designations of all four groups - O (I), A (II), B (III) and AB (IV) were approved. And, although more than 250 varieties of blood are known today, it is important to know precisely these four, since they are the most important and serious.

Why is it necessary to be informed about how to know your blood type? There are several reasons. The most serious - in case of an accident you may need a blood transfusion. The fact is that the groups have mutual compatibility. For example, a person with blood 2 (A) can be a donor only for recipients (needing blood transfusions) with 2 (A) and 4 (AB). Therefore, people who are in the war zone or employed at work, risking life, issue special tokens or stripes indicating their blood type along with the Rh factor. This is done so that health professionals know exactly this data in any situation. After all, in such cases, medical help is often required immediately, and the patient may be unconscious. Also information about the blood group is sometimes indicated in the passport. This is done more of a precaution, but in case of an accident it can greatly help doctors.

Therefore, about where and how to find out your blood group, you need to take care as early as possible.

This factor is passed on to us by inheritance and does not change during life, so it will take only one time to determine it. And what kind of group the child will have depends on the parents. There is still such a thing as the Rh factor. It is denoted by the letters Rh with a plus (with a positive) and a minus (with a negative). Together, it looks like this: 2 (A) Rh- means the second blood group with a negative Rh factor. It is also important, since the blood of people with different rates is incompatible. This is taken into account when transfusion or surgical intervention. Also, the Rh factor affects the course of pregnancy with a negative value in a future mother. If the baby is positive, it can cause certain problems in bearing and childbirth. But this is not to be feared, as modern medicine has already learned to correct this situation, and pregnancy in most cases ends up safely.

The analysis for the blood group is also carried out by the doctors if you for some reason require serious medical care, and this factor is not reflected in your medical record.

At present, there are even certain diets for the owners of different groups, and it is believed that the predisposition to diseases is often associated with this factor.
