Friendliness is a character trait or manner of behavior?

The main character traits inherent in a person determine his attitude to life and those around him. This ratio is mirrored in the attitude of others towards the person. In this article we will consider such a human quality as friendliness. How is it manifested and what does it give to man?

What is Friendliness?

Friendliness is affability and benevolence. Friendly people always value people positively, notice in them only good features and recognize the right of every person to make a mistake, trying not to condemn people for misconduct, but to understand their motives and forgive.

Friendliness is the ability to trust people. This is an openness to new relationships and new emotions. Friendly people do not search everywhere for a dirty trick, so they easily get new acquaintances and are not afraid to decide on some new business in their life. Friendly people are optimistic, so in any endeavor they hope for a favorable outcome.

Friendliness is the ability to co-exist in harmony with those people whose beliefs are at odds with yours. Friendliness implies mutual understanding and respect for the views of others, the realization that all people are different and everyone has the right to their point of view. Kind people will not be angry because someone's opinion does not coincide with them, and they will not try to prove their rightness by imposing their vision of the world.

Friendliness is that character trait of a person that determines his behavior in society. With such people it is easy to find a common language, with them it is comfortable to be friends and communicate, they radiate good and positive.

Manifestation of friendliness

Since this feature is one of the most worthy in a person's character, its manifestation is able to withstand negative emotions. Friendliness acts, figuratively speaking, as a shield from vital adversities and bad people. How is friendliness manifested? A few simple tricks are able to demonstrate to others that you are friendly:

  • Smile. Smiling familiar and unfamiliar people, you thereby show your location and cause them positive emotions.

  • Politeness. This is an unshakable rule for friendly people. They will never allow themselves to slander, it is tempting to find out their relationship, and also insult and humiliate other people.
  • Compliment. Everyone loves people without exception, when they are complimented. The ability to make an unobtrusive compliment distinguishes benevolent people from individuals of bad character.
  • Offer your help. Willingness to always come to the rescue is another of the basic qualities of benevolent people.

Examples of friendliness

In life, we meet with many examples of friendliness. The most simple:

  • Transfer the elderly person across the road;
  • Help carry a heavy bag;

  • To intercede for the weak, who is offended;
  • Smile with a smile at the rudeness in his address, and so on.

Thus the benevolent person shows friendliness not only to people. He is friendly to the whole world. Feed the birds, pull out the animal that got there from the pit, shelter the homeless dog - these are also examples of the friendliness that a person shows in his life in relation to the world around him.
