Types of facades for the kitchen

Film facades

Frame facade made of MDF, covered with PVC film, is easy to manufacture. And, accordingly, the price is lower. The film is fixed to the plate with special glue under the press. The main advantages of this type of elements:

• A variety of colors, embossments and textures;
• Resistance to chemical detergents;
• Durability;
• Resistance to mechanical damage;
• Simplicity of care.

This species also has its drawbacks. It does not withstand high temperatures (at temperatures above 70 degrees, the film can peel off). Because of this, there may be difficulties during the restoration.

Frame facades made of aluminum

Aluminum frame facades are often made in combination with glass. But this is optional. Other fillers may be used.

Facades with aluminum frames have the following advantages:

• strength;
• Resistance to moisture and temperature;
• Wear resistance;
• Long service life;
• Metal can be painted in any color;
• The possibility of using different materials for filling.

Like all elements, this species also has its drawbacks:

• Mechanical damage is clearly visible;
• Impossibility of self-repair;
• For the manufacture of fasteners and handles only certain types.

The frame facade can be selected for any kitchen and at any cost. Even inexpensive elements will please the eye and will not last more than one year.
