Flux of dental

Inflammation of the periosteum is the same disease as the tooth flush. Treatment of this disease should be carried out at the very beginning. If you do not do this or do self-medication with the help of folk methods, you may experience undesirable and rather serious complications.

Dental flux, another name - periostitis, is characterized by local inflammation of the periosteum. In the tissue affected by the infection, cells begin to die. Immediately in large quantities there are bacteria, permanent inhabitants of the oral cavity. At the same time a person begins to have a toothache. Gradually the microbes reach the nerve and destroy it. So if the pain suddenly disappeared, then do not rush to rejoice. The disease did not disappear, it went deep.

Soon the inflamed area begins to expand, and the infection affects other tissues, including the periosteum. After a few days the periosteum begins to fester, and the surrounding areas (cheek, eye, lips) swell. At the same time, your temperature can rise to 38 ° C. If you have not taken any timely measures, the pus breaks out of the abscess and spreads through the oral cavity. After that, a bubble appears, but not for long, and the pus from it again comes out on the gums, along with the saliva leaving the mouth cavity. The result of all of the above is the loss of the tumor and inflammation. However, the dental flux does not disappear completely. Pus has not disappeared, it still exists in the periosteum, regularly spreading through the oral cavity, resulting in abscesses on the jaw bones, facial tissues.

If you have a flux, how to treat it: using modern medicines or folk methods? If the disease has just begun, the inflammation is treated with the use of special antibiotics, while also using painkillers. This method will work only if pus is not formed.

Your dentist will prescribe medications for you after examining the tooth. He also will determine whether there is a need to remove it or you can leave it, treated with medication and physiotherapy. Traditional medicine in case of flux is better not to use, as this can lead to various kinds of complications.

How to treat suppurative inflammation of the periosteum

Flux dentures with conventional medications can not be cured. There's a straight road to the surgeon's office. The abscess will be removed, and the site of inflammation is disinfected with means against suppuration. Near the place where the infection spreads, an incision is made in order for the pus formed to come out. A drainage tube is placed in it. With her help, pus will gradually come out.

When the dental surgeon finishes operating the dental flux, you will be prescribed medications for inflammation and bacterial damage. Thanks to these drugs, the pain sensations will disappear, the inflammatory process will go to waste and the fever will be removed. All medicines prescribed by the doctor should be taken in accordance with the indicated regimen and in the prescribed dosage.

After a few days, the swelling and pain syndrome will disappear, and the incision gradually overgrows. It is extremely rare that pus continues to form and accumulate in the root canal. If you suddenly noticed this, be sure to contact your dentist.

If pus does not find an outlet, it will go to the throat, get into the internal organs. This can result in a purulent inflammation, and this disease often leads to death.

Despite folk medicine advising on thermal flux during the flux, do not make warm compresses during illness in order not to increase the production of pus. Do not apply any bandages, and drink antibiotics only after consulting with the dentist, and he will appoint you the appropriate treatment.
