Flag of the Moscow region. Flags of administrative units of the region.

Each settlement or administrative-territorial unit has the right to its own symbolism. And this is logical, because cities, villages, regions have their own traditions and certain differences from each other.

Flag of the Moscow Region

The Moscow region is the central region of the country. The flag of the Moscow region was officially approved on December 3, 1997 (by the way, it is considered one of the earliest from regional symbols). The project was developed by the leading artists and heraldists of the region, and the image was approved at a meeting of the regional government. Finally, the official status of the cloth was given after its registration in a special State register.

What does the flag of the Moscow region look like? The canvas itself is red. Skeptics may say that these are vestiges of the Soviet past, from which it is worth, finally, to get rid of. What can I say? Probably yes. But people such a flag of the Moscow region accepted favorably, especially since the red color is present on the flag of the Russian Federation, and was traditional for the state banner even before the Communists came to power. The connection between the state symbols of the Moscow region - the flag and the coat of arms - is traced. How? The fact is that in the upper left corner of the flag depicts the great martyr George the Victorious on horseback.

Flags of Moscow Region

The administrative-territorial division in the Moscow Region consists of:

- city districts;

- municipal areas;

- urban settlements.

Every administrative unit today already has its flag. From the urban settlements of the Moscow region, they first approved their symbol in the town of Drezna. The event occurred on November 4, 1999. The image shows a simple simple picture, which symbolizes the Russian nation as hardworking people who work on the ground with profit. The general background of the panel is green, it shows a woman working in the field.

Istra municipal district is the first-born in terms of establishing its own flag. It was officially approved by the decision of the local Council of People's Deputies on March 14, 1997. We observe the predominance of three colors: yellow, white, blue. The image is as follows: on a blue background in the center of the flag is the sun, under which is drawn a white wavy line (symbolizes the earth or the waves of the river).

Flags of urban districts

City districts are settlements located not far from Moscow. The local deputies of the Dzerzhinsky District (1997) approved their own symbol first. On the red background in the center of the canvas is the Kremlin, for which the rising sun is visible.
