Fences made of bricks are built over the centuries. The ancient fortress walls have always been considered a symbol of reliability. They correspond to this status even today, despite the appearance of new materials for fencing.

Modern fences made of bricks consist of a foundation, pillars and spans. The base is made of either concrete or the same brick. Their average height is about 2.5 m, the length of the span usually reaches 4.5 m. As a rule, these are metal pipes buried in the ground and laid with bricks. In addition to providing strength, the pillars make the fence more attractive externally. Virtually all fences of this kind are covered with metal lining on top, and pillars with caps. These elements perform both a protective and decorative function. Due to the fact that the fence is built of small elements, it is possible during the masonry to perform various decorative patterns or lumens.

Types of brick fences

The most important advantage that brick fences have is a high degree of reliability. They provide security for homeownership, protect them from other people's views and the penetration of intruders. But we must take into account that, in addition to solid fencing, built on a solid foundation, there are decorative brick fences that do not possess such a high level of security.

Another, but not less important, quality is durability. It is believed that with the observance of construction technologies, such a fence will last about 50 years, without requiring special care, for example painting. Although the proximity of motorways, high humidity, groundwater, atmospheric influences reduce the service life, but in any case it will last at least 20-30 years.
