Exotic country of Zimbabwe. The capital of Harare is a dynamic metropolis

This cultural and historical center of Zimbabwe was named the worst city to live in and the most expensive capital in the world. Nevertheless, the country, only 20 years ago considered to be developed, attracts huge tourist flows, but the economic situation, unfortunately, is not improving yet.

Gateway to the natural treasure

Numerous travelers are primarily attracted by the amazing nature of Zimbabwe. The capital of Harare, completely preserved exotic, is a kind of gate that opens the way to the country's natural attractions. It should be noted one more fact, which is decisive for men who are at risk and risk, - in this country hunting for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes is allowed. But all the rest are attracted by the breathtaking pristine nature.

A dynamic metropolis

The capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, received the name on behalf of the great leader, was founded in 1890 by Europeans. The largest administrative center, drowning in bright greenery, offers a lot of opportunities for foreigners to make their stay memorable and bright. The name Harare is translated as "the one who never sleeps," and this is really a dynamic city full of ebullient energy. Lifestyle corresponds to those noisy megacities, from which tourists come to rest.

Drowning in the greenery of the city

Comparatively young capital does not have ancient architectural monuments, but no traveler will remain dissatisfied with a long trip to Zimbabwe. The capital with almost two million people surprisingly combines modern skyscrapers and green vegetation, making its way through concrete.

The city is immersed in evergreen exotic trees and flowers, as if into the ocean. Those who are tired of the city noise, waiting for the quiet old streets of a colorful appearance: over the sidewalks seem to hang over verandas, supported by ancient columns from past centuries. Many buildings in the old part of the capital are protected as historical monuments.

National Gallery

In addition to the amazing natural landscapes that Zimbabwe is famous for, the capital of Harare is not deprived of cultural monuments. In the national gallery are collected huge collections dedicated to the art of the peoples of Africa. Original paintings and sculptures tell about the formation of the country, its liberation from colonial oppression and independence.

Harare Gardens

Zimbabwe's large park has long been a favorite tourist destination. The capital invites city visitors to plunge into the colorful atmosphere that all city lovers love so much, and no wedding ceremony takes place without vivid photos taken against the backdrop of miniature models of the Victoria Falls and dense rainforests. Here there is an enchanting live music, and in the afternoon it's very crowded and fun. But at night, all foreigners are warned about the possibility of an attack for the purpose of robbery.

Local market

Mbare Musika is a famous African bazaar, which is famous for the capital of Zimbabwe. The city of Harare offers all tourists to take part in national festivals and concerts taking place on the territory of a huge market that strikes with its color. A large number of souvenir shops with handmade products will satisfy the most refined taste. The indigenous population sells everything, from seasonings, exotic fruits and ending with traditional musical instruments, with their crafts made of clay and wood.

It is a pity that because of the huge unemployment, high inflation is now in the economic ruin of Zimbabwe. The capital, as the travelers have repeatedly noted, despite everything, is very cheerful, unlike other cities in the African country. As already mentioned, the modern city hopes to rectify the situation by introducing new spectacular tourist routes.
