Who is Daria Vasilyeva?

The real name of the writer is Agrippina Arkadevna Dontsova. Her maiden name is Vasilyeva.

A talented literary woman was born on June 7, 1952 in the Russian capital (Moscow, USSR).

For many years now, according to the Russian Book Chamber, Daria Vasilieva (who is also Dontsova) occupies a leading place among Russian art writers in the annual edition of books. Only in 2015 117 works of Dontsova with a circulation in 1968.0 thousand copies were published.

Daria Vasilyeva is not only a famous writer and creator of ironic detectives. The heroine of this article is involved in the role of presenter and screenwriter in some television projects. A family

Daria Vasilieva was born in the family of the director Moskontserta Novatskaya Tamara Stepanovna and the unfamiliar public writer - Vasiliev Arkady Nikolayevich. The writer's father came from a working family. His parents served at the weaving factory. Agrippina was named after her grandmother. At the time of Dontsova's birth, her parents were not officially married. My father was married twice. He also had a daughter from his first marriage - Isolde, who was older than the heroine of today's narrative for twenty years.

Dontsova has Polish roots along the maternal line. Her grandfather - Stefan - was an ally of Felix Dzerzhinsky. Another relative is the Don Cossack. And the grandmother of Agrippina - Athanasius - was from a rich acid family. In 1916 the young people moved to live in Moscow. In 1936, Stefan was detained, charged with a political crime and sent to camps. As if foreseeing the arrest, he managed to divorce his wife, and so his wife and daughter were not touched by the state security officers.

Early years of the writer

The first years of her life, Darya Vasilieva lived in a barracks on Skakova Street in Moscow. There, her mother and grandmother moved after the arrest of Stephen's grandfather. Darya's parents decided to legalize relations when the authorities gathered to evict women from Moscow. On the memorable day of March 6, Arkady and Tamara (Dontsova's parents) came to the registrar's office, but after learning of Stalin's death, they postponed the marriage.

Legalized the marriage of a couple only in 1959, when Daria turned 7 years old, and she had to go to school.

After graduating from high school, the future writer entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. It is worth saying that in the certificate only five had Dontsova. Daria Vasilieva, like one of her heroines, speaks German and French fluently.
