"Danganrong" - characters of all seasons

But these are all trifles in comparison with the situation when life and choice are at stake: kill or be killed. And if the Danganrong characters can kill someone without being caught, they will be free. Well, now in order: what is "Danganrong" and who are her characters?

"Danganrong" - a game or anime?

The full name sounds like Danganronpa: Kiboo no gakuen to dzecubo no kokosei, which means "Danganrong: Academy of Hope and a school of despair". This is a game of the firm Spike Chunsoft, which is presented in the form of a visual novel. The release took place on November 25, 2010. It is worth noting that the game was released only in Japan and was designed for playback on the portable console PlayStation. Players were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the virtual world, becoming the character of "Danganrong".

In total, three parts of the game came out. Release of the second, entitled "Danganrong 2: Farewell, despair," was held in July 2013. The third part - "Danganrong: Reloaded", was released in October 2013. At the end of 2017 gamers of Japan expect to see the final part of this fascinating story. Although it is the latter, it has nothing to do with previous versions. At least, so say the developers.

After the release of the first gameplay based on the game was created manga, and after - anime. Lerche studio presented animation tape, and on July 4, 2013 the first season was released. In 2016, two more anime and speshle seasons were released. All of them completely corresponded to the game world, even the characters of "Danganrong" practically do not change.

The plot of the first season

The main idea of the anime is in a simple phrase: "Kill or be killed." In the first season, anime is told about the elite school "The Peak of Hope", where only the most gifted children are accepted. But you can also get there by winning the lottery, which makes it possible for students to study there. It's only when you get to the "Peak of Hope" that you can not leave the school. You can get out only one way - to kill your classmate and not be caught at the same time.

The survivors (male characters)

In the anime, the viewer gets acquainted with 15 schoolchildren who are in an elite school. But by the end of the first season, only half remained alive. With them the spectator meets in the following seasons. Now more about the characters of the anime "Danganrong":

• Makoto Naegi (苗木 誠) - one of the main characters of the anime. A common youth that does not stand out among his peers wins in the lottery an opportunity to study in an elite school, where he is given the nickname "absolute lucky". No less important role in the first season of the anime was played by female characters from Danganrong. Of these, survivors remained:

• Toko Fukava (腐 川 冬子) is a girl suffering from personality disorders. Has the nickname "absolute bookworm." Her novels were very popular, and she already received several awards. But Toko has another personality - "unconditional serial killer", manifested as soon as the girl sees the blood.
• Aoi Asahina (朝日 奈 葵) - "absolute swimmer". Young athlete, who was in 5 sports clubs and was selected to participate in the Olympic Games. A bad memory of names, naive, everything comes close to heart and easily gives way to panic.
• Kyoko Kirigiri (霧 切 響 子) - the girl is not talkative, besides her memories are erased. She can argue her actions, is endowed with outstanding deductive skills, her talent is "unconditional detective".

The dead

The bloody game of survival took the lives of many characters. Some were executed as murderers, and some were killed by their classmates.

Another character who was not included in the list, Sakura Ogami - "absolute master of martial arts", committed suicide, because she did not want to be manipulated by her life.

Setting rules

In addition to those who played the "game of survival", there were those who created it, as well as creatures that are not people:

• Junko Enoshima - "absolute gyara" (appropriated the title of "unconditional desperation"). Organizer of the bloody quest in the Academy. After her identity was revealed, she executed herself.
• Mukuro Ikusaba is an "absolute mercenary". Younger sister Junko, carried out all her orders, she was also killed.
• Monokuma - black and white bear, who introduced himself as the director of the Academy. Representative Junko, his duty is to punish the students.
• Alter - ego - artificial intelligence, which was created by Fujisaki. Possesses some features of his character, played an important role in the release of students. Appears as a character of "Danganrong 3".

Characters of other seasons

There is no second season in this anime. In 2013, the adaptation of the first game story came out, and in 2016 the audience could see the series, which was coined by the creator of the game, but differs in the plot from the gameplay. The game characters of "Danganrong 2" differ from the first story. In the anime, though, they do not appear.

As for the conditional 2 season of "Danganrong", the characters (the main ones) are the survivors of the "Peak of Hope". After the humanity suffered from the tragic incident of "Absolute despair," the government created a new formation "The Foundation of the Future".

The viewer has the opportunity to meet new characters. Since "Danganrongpa 3" consists of 3 sequels: "Future", "Despair" and "Hope" - it's worth to get acquainted with the new characters in order.

They say that hope is the other side of despair. In the anime, these concepts are closely intertwined with each other, and all the characters balance on the verge of experiences between absolute light and perfect darkness. This is the main asset of the "Danganrong".
