One of the most unusual hotels, which is easy to get confused with guests, appeared in 1990.

The idea of a fantastic house belongs to the daughter of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who lived for many years in Russia. Retired from the public service and engaged in creativity, she designed the "Crazy House" - a building in which it is impossible to find a single right angle. According to the architect, this structure should return us to naturalness and true beauty.

It seems that the "madhouse" standing out from the rest of the buildings came from Tolkien's fairy-tale worlds, and in the architectural style Dali and Gaudi's creativity is traced. It's incredible, but the author of the unusual labyrinth created it without any drawings, and local artisans embodied her fantasy.

A unique work of architecture

Describe the concrete Crazy House, which does not fit into the city landscape at all, is simply impossible. It is a huge branchy tree, inside of which a giant spider has woven its web, connecting mysterious corridors, quaint ladders and living rooms. The real work of art is included in all lists of the most "strange" constructions on our planet. Inside the fantastic-looking building are themed rooms dedicated to animals.

Summer Palace of the Emperor

Picturesque Dalat, whose attractions will bring a lot of pleasant emotions to children and their parents, will surprise the curious museums. The most interesting is the Bao Dai Summer Palace, located in the west of the city. Built in 1933, the residence of the last emperor of the country does not look like a luxurious palace, but a spacious dacha, so tourists who visited the dark-beige mansion are surprised at how unpretentious the ruler was. The house museum gives an idea of how the aristocrats of the past era lived, because the situation for this time remained inviolable. All that appears before the eyes of the guests is exactly the same as under the reign of the emperor.

The summer palace of Bao Dai consists of 25 rooms, each of which is filled with historical artifacts that once belonged to the family of the emperor. Here you can see the engraved on the glass map of Vietnam, donated by local students who studied in France, the royal copper seal, the busts of the ruler and his father. Of particular interest to visitors is the sauna located on the second floor of the mansion, and the ultraviolet machine used to obtain an even tan.

Lake Xuan Huong

At the beginning of the last century, the French colonialists decided to build a dam to preserve the life-giving moisture for the city. Formed a reservoir in 34 years, was named in honor of the medieval poetess, who denounced the hypocrisy of the monarchs. Artificial lake Xuan Huong, reminiscent of the shape of a half moon, covers an area of 32 hectares. Favorite place for recreation and walks of townspeople attracts interest and tourists, since it is located in an extremely picturesque place, surrounded by pine forests and flower gardens. The mirror-smooth surface of the reservoir, along which the pedestrian path curves, calms and pacifies.

A huge dam is adored by lovers couples, often strolling here in the evenings, and in local restaurants, where you can taste delicious dishes of national cuisine, weddings are often celebrated.

Dalat Flower Park

The city, which always has fine weather, is decorated with flowers, but the largest garden is located next to the Xuan Huong Lake in the city park, near the resort center. An amazing place, the area of which exceeds seven thousand square meters, was broken in 1966. The garden of flowers in Dalat is visible from afar, and the entrance to it is preceded by a giant green arch in the form of a horseshoe. Every year special festivals are held here, where hundreds of plant expositions are exhibited by famous landscape designers.

In the park you can see various floral installations resembling human or animal figures. In the heart of the garden that has grown over time, there is a small lake, and everyone can ride on pretty little boats made in the shape of a swan.

Magic Flower World

The flower park, carefully looked after by the staff, is beautiful at any time of the year. At every step tiny bonsai blossom, symbolizing well-being and longevity. It is believed that such trees must be in every Vietnamese family. A large number of fabulous orchids and luxurious roses will surprise even the most sophisticated connoisseurs. A delightful park, all the botanical gardens of the world can envy the richness of the presented plants, is divided into thematic parts: Japanese and French styles, classics, baroque and others.

Cable car

Colorful Dalat, whose attractions cause the desire to visit it, is proud of the funicular railway more than two kilometers long, located south of the lake Xuan Huong. Its beginning is within the resort, and it leads to the monastery of Truc Lam, and you can reach the destination point in just 15 minutes. Tourists often regret that the funicular takes too fast and there is absolutely no time to enjoy the stunning views.

Visitors can enjoy a picturesque city panorama from a bird's eye view. The cable car in Dalat, the route of which is laid along the most beautiful places, smoothly goes up and gradually grows. The monastery located on the mountain is also admired: it is a whole Buddhist village, consisting of decorated pagodas and monastic houses. It is necessary to remember that the road runs until 5 pm, and in case of delay you can go by bus or walk on foot.

City waterfall

One of the main natural attractions of "miniature Paris" is located within the city, and therefore is one of the most visited. The fascinating Camli waterfall, the area near which is constantly being arranged, resembles a paradise, although one should not expect too much from it. Foreign tourists do not confuse that the water in Ly Ly Waterfall itself is difficult to call transparent, because it flows into several rivers of the resort, not differing in purity.

In the evening, a musical fountain starts to work with bright illumination, and the guests of the city become even more. The air around the cascade, consisting of several levels, does not at all resemble the fresh mountain, but it does not bother anyone. Just above the waterfall is the necropolis of the same name, surprising European tourists. A place unlike a cemetery with thousands of buildings is more like a small town.

Still young Dalat, whose attractions are the subject of admiration for all holidaymakers, annually attend about 80 thousand Europeans. Local authorities to justify his unofficial name, even built a tiny Eiffel Tower, visible from all sides.
