Traditionally, corridors are held during all religious festivals and major city fairs. A season of bullfighting begins during the Fiesta Las Fallas, which takes place in Valencia in the period from 10 to 19 March. And this season ends in October with fairs that take place in Madrid and Zaragoza. And the most famous in Spain are two fairs. This is the April Fair, taking place in Seville. It begins a week after Easter and lasts for two weeks. Well, the May Fair lasts a month in the capital of the country. And it is the corrida in Madrid and in Seville - this is the place where you can see the work of the most famous torero. Even more interesting bullfighting takes place in other cities of the country. In Cordoba (May), in Granada (the first week of June), in Pamplona (early July), in Valencia (second half of July) and in Bilbao (second half of August).

In general, corrida in Spain - this is the most accurate event in this country. It starts strictly at a certain time and at the beginning it is possible to check the hours. Now the "green" are actively opposed to the bullfight. But there are many admirers of this spectacle who vehemently defend it, motivated by the fact that the corrida has become an inspiration for many musicians, artists, filmmakers and writers. After all, the tradition of worshiping bulls has deep historical roots. And with these animals associated a lot of rituals. Often the blood of the sacrificial bull served as anointing. And many people believed that it protects them from dark forces and endows them with strength and courage.

And the bulls that go into the arena to battle the torero are not ordinary animals. These are wild and furious creatures that have a pedigree, stretching several centuries. And they no longer need to train, train - their fierce disposition they received at birth. And these bulls immediately attack everything that is in their field of vision. The first 5 years of life, they carelessly graze in pastures, and only then they have the honor to go out into the arena and die in front of thousands of crowds.

In fact, the corrida in Spain is a delightful sight, which does not know itself equal in beauty and drama. Traditions and rituals of this action have been formed for many centuries. And if the viewer does not know them, then he will not be able to fully appreciate the essence of what is happening. Usually in this view, three matadors take part. And each of them fights with two bulls. These bulls are chosen for bullfighting during a special drawing. And this spectacle begins with the parade, when all the participants of the bullfight appear on the arena. They are accompanied by a costumed procession and all this happens to the sounds of the pasadoble.

Each matador has three assistants - banderillero. They help him to control the bull and do it with bright cloaks. Also, the banderillero is stuck into the withers of the bull with long thin sticks adorned with colored paper. These sticks are called banderillas. Torero also has his own team. And it includes two picadoras, each of which participates in one battle. And the first fight begins, when the president of the bullfight waves his white handkerchief.

And then the bull is taken to the arena. He is greeted by the banderillero, in whose hands are the crimson-golden cloaks. Their task is to understand the behavior of the bull and teach it "the rules of the game." Then it's the turn of the picadores. They also correct the behavior of the animal and do everything to keep it low, watch the cloak and do not make sudden attacks and movements. For this, the picador makes three injections of bull in the withers.

Further corrida in Spain continues with the participation of the same banderillero. The bull is much more dangerous by this time. He already knows the "rules of the game" and is ready to defend himself fiercely. And then the banderillero is stuck in the back of the bull three pairs of banderillas. Here they have to demonstrate their reaction and dexterity. And only after this comes the turn of the matador. He goes into the arena armed with a red muleta and a sword. The matador fights the bull, using many elements. And each of his pirouettes causes applause in the stands. And so gradually the moment for a fatal blow comes. The matador should make him a sword and get into this three-inch space, located between the shoulder blades of the animal. And the lucky matador receives a reward for the tail or ear of the animal he killed. They are symbols of his valor and skill.
