Connecting the boiler yourself

Modern man is a truly universal being. He not only masterfully owns the most sophisticated office equipment, understands super-refined mobile phones and cars, but is also able to cope with connecting a gas stove, washing machine or boiler without calling a special team of craftsmen.

Connecting a boiler is not the most difficult process, if you strictly follow the instructions and have a little knowledge of electricity. Step-by-step actions in this case will look like this:

  • Pick up such a place for the boiler, wherever it would not interfere with any of the household members and at the same time, so that it would be convenient to connect it to the water supply system. This can be an angle in the bathroom, toilet or kitchen - depending on the size and occupancy of the room;

  • Choosing the right place, at the altitude that is convenient for you, you need to drill two dowel holes in the wall, where the hooks-brackets are screwed;

  • The boiler is hung on brackets;

  • Then connect the boiler to the water supply. For this, it is necessary to crash into the water supply system and install an emergency (or water-proof) tap;

  • So that the water from the boiler does not contain various impurities, cleaning filters are inserted at the outlet. The cartridge is best used at 5 microns (if taken at 1 micron, it will require more frequent replacement);

  • A tee is installed, from which the tap is connected to a tap where cold water flows. This is the first selection. The second one is connected to another emergency crane installed on the boiler and then to the excess pressure valve pre-inserted into the appliance, to which the collet is connected;

  • We connect faucet A and B, which are used to drain water from the boiler when the appliance is prevented, or in order to get water from the boiler, when it is absent in the water pipe and there is no proper pressure in the boiler pipes;

  • Connection of the boiler at the final stage: it is necessary to make a wiring from the collet, which is connected to the outlet where the hot water is ;

  • In the special holes made in the direction of the laid pipes, fixing clips are installed.

When the boiler reliably hangs on the wall and is connected to the water mains, it remains to connect it to the mains. For this, double paired switches and insulated wires are mandatory. Never use the appliance without protective earthing or grounding loops.

The usual connection of the boiler to the mains is somewhat different from the connection to the gas boilers. Gas boilers are used in apartments and houses as heating systems, and to meet domestic needs for hot water, they have to connect additional equipment. However, extra costs in this regard can be avoided by using indirect heating water heaters. These are also boilers, only not gas or electric, but working on the energy generated by external sources - the central heating system, heating boilers, etc. In addition, indirect boilers are more powerful and productive than others.

The connection of the indirect heating boiler and its operation are as follows: in the boiler tank there is a coil through which the coolant of the external source passes. From its heat the water heats up. Such boilers are single-circuit. In order for the coolant to circulate through the coil in the boiler, an automatic pump is included in the circuit. The automation on the last-generation contour boilers allows you to connect an indirect heating boiler and automatically switch to DHW mode when the set water temperature is lowered, and then switch it back to the heating mode when it is heated. Connecting the boiler to the boiler and the entire installation of electrical equipment will be fairly easy, provided that both the boiler and the water heater are from the same manufacturer.
