Cholagogue No. 3 is often used in modern conservative medicine. The choleretic collection №3 in its composition has:

  • Flowers of medicinal calendula - contains acids, flavonoids, sterols;
  • Dried peppermint leaves - menthol;
  • Flowers of ordinary tansy - flavonoids, organic acids ;
  • Flowers of chemist's chamomile - glycosides, azulene, essential oil, antemisic acid;

This medicine was developed for the treatment of the liver, gall bladder, ducts, through which bile is excreted. It is prescribed for hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia, cholangitis. It is effective for chronic or acute cholecystitis.

  • Pour into the enameled container two full tablespoons of herbal collection and pour a glass (200 ml) of steep boiling water;
  • Place the medicine in a water bath and leave it there for fifteen minutes;
  • Remove the cooked broth and leave for an hour or until completely cooled;
  • Now a cold broth carefully strain and wring out the raw material;
  • Dilute the product with boiling water so that a full glass of broth is obtained.

When preparing more decoction, control the proportion: two tablespoons of herbs are served on a glass of boiling water. Keep the ready-made infusion in a cool place and not more than two days - after this time, the medicine is no longer usable. But it's best to cook fresh every day.

It is recommended to take half a cup of broth three times a day. It is advisable to take the medicine half an hour before meals. If necessary, the doctor can change the regimen and the amount of intake according to the state of the patient's body.
