China buys fresh Canadian air

The Canadian company sells the air of a ski resort in bottles. Its representatives say that now it is in great demand among consumers in China.

The first batch of "Life-giving air" (500 bottles), filled with fresh air of the city of Rocky Mountain, went on sale in China last month and was sold out within two weeks.

The director of the Chinese department of the company, Harrison Wang, said that there are now a lot of preliminary orders. Depending on the size of the container, fresh air can be bought for 14-20 dollars.

Will imported air solve the smog problem in China?

North China is often shrouded in smog, especially in the winter months, when coal and coal are burned in homes and power stations to keep warm. Earlier in Beijing, schools were already closed and traffic was limited due to poor air quality.

The co-founder of the company that sells "Life-giving air," Moses Lam, says that this business idea came to him last year, when eBay sold a package with air for 99 cents.

Sales in China are growing because of the novelty, although many people believe that the novelty has a real functional purpose. For Canada, clean air is a common thing, but in China the situation is completely different. Lam is sure that if China can import water and food, it should have the right to buy clean air.
