Failed years

The 40s and 50s can be safely called the worst in the history of the Chicago team. The club could not get through even in the playoffs. The situation changed in 1961, when the Stanley Cup was again taken to Chicago. The hockey club was again at the top of the NHL rating.

The whole period before the beginning of the new millennium, "Blackhawks" many times went to the finals of the tournament, but each time inferior to their rivals. The management of the club was tired of failures, and in 1999 the team's restructuring began. The composition again underwent major changes. The club invited young players, but this did not really affect the situation.

The turning point in the club's history was the lock-out 2004/05. The main coach of the team was Trent Yoni. The club was joined by 9 more hockey players. Despite several unsuccessful seasons in 2009, the "Hawks" reached the final of the conference, but lost to the "Wings". But in the next year the fourth Stanley Cup was won, not least thanks to the actions of the young star - forward Jonathan Tayvza. "Chicago" is a hockey club, in which talents of many NHL stars of the past and this century were revealed.

The next success did not have to wait long. In 2013, the Stanley Cup was again in the hands of the captain of the Blackhawks after a confident victory over the Boston Bruins. In 2015, for the third time in five years, won the Chicago Stanley Cup hockey club "Chicago". "Chicago Blackhawks" added to its museum the sixth, the most prestigious award in the NHL.
