Failed years

The 40s and 50s can be safely called the worst in the history of the Chicago team. The club could not get through even in the playoffs. The situation changed in 1961, when the Stanley Cup was again taken to Chicago. The hockey club was again at the top of the NHL rating.

The whole period before the beginning of the new millennium, "Blackhawks" many times went to the finals of the tournament, but each time inferior to their rivals.
