Chandelier with their own hands

It happens that I want to make something beautiful and unusual for my interior. And what catches your eye first thing when you go into a new room? Of course, a chandelier. It can be updated without the help of the store, making it for yourself at home. The chandelier created in this way is no worse than what can be purchased at the store. To create it, you really can use any improvised materials, but it's important to remember that this may be your first masterpiece, so it's necessary to approach the matter very seriously and carefully.

Next, we will talk about how the chandelier can be made with our own hands in the Sino-Japanese style. It turns out that it will be in a single copy and with individual characteristics. To create such a masterpiece is quite simple, it is enough to collect the material in advance, and then follow the simple stages of manufacturing.

For this product, you will need bamboo sticks, which you can make yourself, glue PVA, gauze, glue gun, hacksaw, scissors, old laths from the blinds, sharp knife. You can make imitation of bamboo canes yourself, using tubes, folded from a thick cardboard. Grab the edges with glue, and then paint them in brown. This will help you gouache, and before it dries, you can glue to it small beads that will reflect the light from the lamp and save your masterpiece from overheating.

Chandelier with their own hands: the manufacturing process

Now it's time to move on to the most interesting. Real bamboo sticks or ready-made decorative must be tied into a common design. The design itself should be such as you see it in your imagination, the easiest way is to make a square one. Naturally, it is necessary to create a preliminary sketch of the future creation, in order to be guided at least a little bit by it. Chandelier with your own hands made of bamboo should be done in stages, when you already have several elements in your hands, you can start collecting the entire structure completely. It is important to pay attention to the dimensions of the parts, because if you are dealing with thin bamboo, then the elements themselves must be thin, and thick bamboo can make the construction more massive.

To strengthen the received design it is necessary to glue the inside of the plafond with a piece of gauze. This element will serve to fasten all the parts together, as well as to disperse the light inside the chandelier. Fastening of gauze is carried out with the help of PVA glue. After the glue dries, it is necessary to glue the edges of the plafond with a hot gun. To stabilize the chandelier in a suspended state, it is necessary to fix the crosspiece with a hole to one of the ends of the plafond, a chandelier wire is passed through the hole. At the bottom of the chandelier, you can add decorative trim, and you can split a piece of bamboo, and glue along the bottom contour. If it seems to you that this chandelier does not look enough oriental in its own hands, then you can make a stencil with a hieroglyphic image, and paint it with a paint on the chandelier. You can take a cartridge under a lamp as usual, but it is desirable that it be white. All electrical wires can be passed through the crosspiece. Such a decorative plafond can be attached to the ceiling with a metal cable or a decorative chain with large holes. The wire is passed through the links and is led to the ceiling, where it is connected to the electrical network.

Such plafonds must do two, because the culture of the East dictates the rule of having a pair for each subject, and from the point of view of practicality, this is true, because it will be much lighter.

What can we say in the end? Only the call: "Do it yourself chandelier." By creating something with your own hands, you make the world around you be more harmonious.
