In the process of this expensive and luxurious play, the streets of Rio cover a whirlwind of sparkles, skirts of dancers, fireworks. Traditionally, this carnival in Brazil is a kind of competition between the twelve samba schools. Each of them has a huge number of fans. The champion is the best school. This is the focus of all the enchanting, called carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

What is a samba school? This is a union of people who believe that they have mastered this dance better than others. To one school usually a lot of people belong - from 3 to 5 thousand people. All of them work diligently, persistently train throughout the year to adequately represent their school at the carnival. Many believe that this holiday lasts only a few days. This is not so. After all, suits are sewed all year round, work is in full swing on trainings, music is written, wagons are being built. This is a way of thinking, not just a nationwide celebration.

There is another carnival in Brazil, which would be useful to visit everyone who loves great shows and moments when emotions overwhelm with delight. It takes place in El Salvador and represents the best Afro-Brazilian music. The performances of different groups are also expected. They are called Afoxe societies. Currently, one of the most famous groups is the "Gandhi Children". Its members take part in the procession, they are dressed in blue blocks and white tunics. What happens during this carnival? Each group dances around two platforms, the orchestra is located on them. Sounds fiery music, everyone is having fun, laughing and joking. For seven days, several million people take to the streets to please everyone with traditional dances. Very often the participants in the carnival wear masks, they sing and dance in a certain musical style, it is typical for the north-eastern part of Brazil and is called Frevo.

Few heard about Bahia's carnival. But this is a very interesting action. A huge stage is installed on huge trucks, as well as powerful sound equipment. This allows you to arrange a city-wide show.

Traditions of such street carnivals were brought to Brazil by immigrants from the islands of Portugal. At first such festivals were like mass slaughter, weapons were starchy crackers, eggs, inflatable balls with water and so on. Only later the Brazilians still adopted the different masquerade elements from the more enlightened Europe.

Everyone should do a lot of things in their lives, including at least one carnival. Brazil is the best place to implement such an idea.
