Call Of Cthulhu: the passage of one of the most terrible games of all time

The basis for the creation of this game was one of the books of the world-famous writer of horror-works Howard Lovecraft. And this is already a serious application for the project to turn out to be really terrible and mystical. In 2006, the brainchild of the studio Headfirst Productions came out and instantly gained universal popularity and prevalence. At school, on the street you could hear several times a day the phrase: "Call Of Cthulhu" - the passing of the game was so intriguing and interesting. She also received high marks from critics. Today we will discuss this project with the purpose of revealing special components (moments, elements) of the game process.

Immersion in the abyss

It all begins with the events that happened to the protagonist a few years ago, why he developed persistent visions, insomnia and headaches. The investigation of the cases of a little popular cult worshiping the sea gods led him to the epicenter of a hotbed of another's faith. There he found a secret cellar where some foreign communication technologies (something like a portal) were located with unknown creatures who tried to either talk or instill and impose their faith through illusions, visions and nightmares. Next Jack Walters begins to live his usual life. But it is accompanied by periodic nightmares. In general, passing the game Call Of Cthulhu is closely intertwined with the psychological aspects of a person, his emotions and, of course, with fear. In a few years the visions will begin to gain strength, and by the time when one friend asks him to go to a certain town called Innsmouth, in which his friend disappeared, they will gain high speed. The protagonist, of course, agrees to conduct an investigation. And then begins the plot of the plot of Call Of Cthulhu, the passage of which will force the player to scream from time to time with horror.

Loop overhead

After a few minutes of walking through the streets of an abandoned town, it's not hard to guess that nobody is happy about Jack, and he will not get the information for free. We have to do everything on our own. Residents are not sociable and joyless. Law enforcement agencies do not let the main character into the most "interesting" places. In a roundabout way and bypassing Jack manages to learn about some events that occurred in Innsmouth, in particular, about the loss of an employee of one store. In the course of the investigation, it also reveals a lot of intriguing moments, which will later be reflected in the game Call Of Cthulhu. Its passage is divided into several chapters, and already from the first one you can feel that someone is about to pull a loop around the neck of the protagonist. The player begins to feel an ineffable depressing atmosphere, hopelessness and despair, from which one can not escape. Especially the firearms Jack will receive in a fairly long period of time. But even a gun is not able to give that unshakable sense of security and safety. Also periodically you will need to solve puzzles and logical tasks that are present throughout the game Call Of Cthulhu. Passage (safe in particular) can take quite a long time if you do not thoroughly understand the problem. The same safe you can try to open for hours if you do not find the right clues. They can be found in a book and a diary. The correct code is the date of birth of the girl. At the moment it's February 7th, that is yesterday was her tenth birthday. First of all, the number of the month is entered, that is, the number 2, then the day (6), and after the last two digits of the year (at the moment in the game in 1922, therefore, we take 10 years and get the two cherished last figures - 12). An interesting moment in Call Of Cthulhu, the passage of which does not have a "happy ending", is the variability of the endings. That is, they may differ slightly from each other. This will largely depend on the progress of the investigation of the whole case.
