Bus tours in Europe. Reviews of tourists about the trip

As a rule, bus tours provide travelers with a lot of advantages, although one can not but agree that there are also disadvantages.

Let's look into the history ... When did this kind of trip for our country first start? It seems to me that this happened back in the 70s of the last century, when crowds of shuttles rushed to European cities for the goods. Although, of course, to call this pastime tourism or recreation somehow even the language does not turn. Now such trips are usually called shop-tours, but they are organized quite rarely, mainly because of a lack of willing.

Where tours are very popular excursions, and especially popular destinations are still considered to be European countries: Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

1. Bus tours in Europe. Reviews are positive.

In general, tourists distinguish the following positive points:

  • Bus excursion tours around Europe are characterized by a comparatively low cost compared to, say, air or railway transportation methods;
  • The coverage of attractions is great enough. Managers of travel agencies try to combine routes, as a result, for one trip, travelers get the opportunity to visit several countries and get acquainted with the features of the sites visited and local color;
  • But do you know that there is a fairly common problem faced by many visitors from foreign countries? It is called xenophobia and manifests itself in fear, experienced before foreigners and ignorance and misunderstanding of an unknown foreign language. Going on a tour of Europe by bus, if you want, you can and do not dive into the local environment. First, the tourist is on a trip with the group, and the solution of all issues can be shifted to a guide. And secondly, each is given a detailed briefing before visiting a particular monument, museum, park or palace;
  • In addition, I would like to note that it is on bus tours that you can find new friends, make friends, exchange impressions, experience and start dreaming about a new journey.

2. Bus tours in Europe. Reviews are negative, and how to learn not to notice cons.

Having become acquainted with a rather large number of reviews, and also taking into account my own observations, I came to the conclusion that the shortcomings of bus tours are:

  • First of all, of course, the inconvenience of this type of displacement. The fact is that although in any similar tour there are night stays in hotels, most of the time you still have to spend sitting in the bus chair. Even if you are lucky, and the travel agency will provide a spacious and modern vehicle, sit in an uncomfortable position most of the time - unpleasant;
  • As a rule, on bus trips it is difficult to plan your diet correctly. In the hotel you will be served breakfast, but lunch and dinner will have to be planned independently. There are two ways to get out of this situation. First, stock up the products in advance, and in the morning, dial hot water into the thermos, which can later be brewed tea, coffee or oatmeal. Secondly, the heads of the tours tend to take care of their wards, so in advance provide for stops near inexpensive public catering cafes or food stores;
  • Fellow travelers. Agree, all people are different. Neighbors on the chair may well turn out to be both intelligent and silent tourists, and noisy and restless. In such cases I prefer to put on headphones or go deep into a solid book. Traveling for me is a way to relax and switch, so I'm always ready to make a note to drinkers, loudly talking or restless. Probably, I'm lucky, because in most cases the situation can be resolved peacefully;
  • Bus tours around Europe ... Reviews can be very diverse. - Some, for example, are happy to visit several places at the same time, while others, on the contrary, complain that after the end of such a trip the head remains a mess. I have decided for myself long ago: you want to remember - take notes about what you saw;
  • And finally the last point ... The bus moves along the usual road, where besides it other road users are at the same time. The risk of getting into an accident is higher compared to air or railway tours. It all depends, as they say, on fate, so I believe that everything will be good, and I try not to think bad thoughts at all.

Many of us are drawn to travel, and the best and relatively inexpensive way to realize your dream is from time to time to go on bus tours around Europe. Reviews, as you can see, are very ambiguous, however, you will agree that in order to side with advantages or disadvantages, you still need to find time, gather strength and one day go on such a trip. Only upon returning home will you understand whether this kind of leisure is suitable for you or whether it is better to choose something different for yourself.
