Bulbit: what is it and how to fight?

Bulbit - what is this? So called acute or chronic inflammatory process of the duodenum, located next to the stomach. Often, the disease is combined with gastritis, because the symptoms of both ailments are similar. The second name is "bulbit stomach".

Causes of appearance

The main role in the development of the disease is attributed to the bacteria Helicobacter pylori. When infected with this microorganism, bulbitis develops against a background of gastritis. Another factor that provokes the disease is the increased acidity of the gastric secretion. The infection with worms, lamblia, and Crohn's disease play a role in the development of the disease . Catarrhal bulbitis can develop if a person abuses alcohol, takes certain medications, is exposed to chemical poisoning. Injury to the stomach can provoke a sharp form. Another factor that occurs very often is malnutrition.

Bulbit: what is this?

This disease characterized by aching, sometimes cramping pain in the epigastric region. Sometimes discomfort can be felt in the right hypochondrium, and in the area around the navel. Characteristic pains occur two hours after eating, may be accompanied by nausea. The pain syndrome decreases or disappears completely after ingestion of food or antacid preparations.

Bulbit - what is this? This is also an unpleasant sensation caused by a bitter eructation or vomiting with an admixture of bile. There is such a syndrome due to incorrect motor activity of the duodenum. As a result of such failures, its contents are thrown back into the stomach, which provokes the above-described phenomena.

Surface bulbite

This disease is divided into two types: an erosive bulbite and a superficial one. The second option is the initial stage of the disease. So far the inflammation affects only the upper layer of the PDK. If the measures for eliminating the problem are not accepted, and the patient is limited to taking an anesthetic, the disease develops further and provokes the tissue decay as a result. So there is a second variant of the disease.

Erosive bulbite

The duodenum can rightfully be considered one of the most sensitive human organs. To damage her mucous can be too hot drink or food. In this case, an erosive bulb is shown. What is it? In fact, these are a few small sores on the intestinal mucosa that can grow in size and eventually, without proper treatment, affect most of the intestine.

Treatment of the disease

The most important thing in the treatment of acute catarrhal bulbitis is bed and hunger for up to two days. The stomach is cleaned by washing it with a solution of potassium permanganate, after which a weak solution of magnesium sulphate is introduced. Then the treatment is dietary nutrition, enveloping and astringent drugs, antispasmodics for pain (No-shpa, Barralgin), anticholinergics, for example, the drug Atropine. Chronic variant of the disease is treated long and complex. The patient's life should change, it means that it is necessary to get rid of the old habits and move on to proper nutrition. When exacerbating a sparing diet is recommended . Drugs are prescribed depending on the cause of the disease. Each patient takes medication to regenerate the mucosa, regulate motor function and normalize secretion.
