Brateevsky cascade park is located on the bank of the Moskva River opposite the residential area of Marino. History of the recreation area

In the 1980s, active construction of residential microdistricts in Marino was conducted. At the site of the modern Brateevsky Park, then there was an unattractive wasteland where active sand mining was conducted. During the construction of the Lefortovo tunnel , a decision was made to improve the Brateevskaya embankment. Here, the soil that was released during the work was brought.
