"Brandy and Mr. Whiskers" is an American animated series that tells about the friendship of a frivolous hyperactive rabbit and a pampered room dog that happened to be caught in the middle of the Amazon jungle. Plot

Brandy and Whiskers get acquainted in the luggage compartment of the aircraft. At first, the protagonists are disliked to each other, because they belong to different strata of society. Brandy comes from an aristocratic family, whose dogs have always lived in luxurious conditions. She goes to the resort along with her wealthy masters. Whiskers is on his way to the zoo. He is going to sell for 39 cents. Because of the open by mistake emergency hatch, the protagonists fall out of the plane and land in the jungles of the Amazon. Brandy and Whiskers often wrangle and quarrel because of the disparity of the characters. But they must unite their efforts to survive. The dog and the rabbit manage to make friends with some inhabitants of the Amazonian jungle. However, not all locals are friendly. Brandy and Whiskers are constantly forced to avoid a variety of dangers, including the likelihood of being eaten. Their main opponent is a jaguar named Gaspar Le Geco, the self-proclaimed ruler of the jungle.

Main characters

Brandy is reminiscent of his manners and behavior spoiled hot-tempered princess. Once in the jungle, she is desperate, because she is absolutely not adapted to life in such conditions. All Brandy's thoughts are focused on finding an opportunity to return home. Despite the difficult situation, she does not lose her self-esteem and continues to carefully look after her appearance. In the back of his mind, Brandy is worrying for Whiskers, although it seems capricious and selfish. However, she regularly takes advantage of the kindness of other characters.

The white rabbit, Mr. Whiskers, gives the impression of a carefree, frivolous and awkward creature. But he appreciates the friendship and is struggling to help Brandy. Their relationship goes through many difficulties and challenges. In the first Brandy series, Mr. Whiskers and Gaspar Le Geco are in a dramatic situation. Jaguar wants to eat a rabbit and weaves insidious intrigue to achieve this goal. Gaspard Le Geko proposes Brandy to exchange Whiskers for a geographic map that will help return home. At first she agrees to make a deal, but then repents of her deed and saves the rabbit.

Minor characters

Brandy and Whiskers get acquainted with several inhabitants of the jungle. Their closest friend is a pink and purple boa constrictor named Lola Boa. The snake helps the main characters adapt to life in the Amazonian rainforest.

Friendly relations arise between Vickers and a giant river otter named Ed. This character is the exact opposite of a hyperactive rabbit. Ed prefers to lead a quiet life and likes to tell long, complicated stories.

The main characters also get acquainted with two toucans, the twins Cheryl and Meryl. Between sisters often break out quarrels and fights for small, minor reasons, but they always manage to make up.

First season

Brandy and Whiskers get used to a new life. They build themselves a house on a tree. Brandy tries to create a civilized society in the jungle and introduces local people to the elements of hygiene and fashion. Despite the unlike characters, the dog and rabbit relationships develop into a sincere friendship.

Second season

Great changes take place in the house that Brandy and Mr. Whiskers built. The second season tells how the main characters finally reconciled to life in the jungle. They decorate and beautify their home. Friends cover the walls with bright colorful wallpaper and equip the bathroom in it. Brandy's desire to return to his old life becomes less acute.
