Early life and activities

Biography of Valentine Berestov began in 1928, April 1, in Meshchovsk - a city in the Kaluga region. The future poet learned to read when he was four years old. In 1942 during the Great Patriotic War the whole Berestov family came to Tashkent to evacuate.
