The then aircraft designers realized that the development of aviation equipment would be more successful if the models of future aircraft were used, to study the results of their blowing in wind tunnels. Thus, the method of scientific poking became much cheaper and safer.

It also became apparent that it is impossible to develop a sufficiently reliable aircraft alone. Too much heterogeneous information had to be taken into account in order to create truly reliable aviation equipment.

Difficulties at the initial stage of development

Another factor that constrained progress was that the designer himself had to perform many additional duties. It was necessary not only to make calculations, but also to design and maintain aircrafts still at the development stage and in the future, independently to test the aircraft, which means - it was necessary to learn how to fly. Who? At himself.

And another important factor - it was necessary to earn money to provide and their living, and the promotion of their dreams. In addition, often had to overcome the ridicule and jeers of envious persons, ill-wishers and skeptics. And this lay down a heavy emotional burden on the inventors.

Experimental samples are not the end of the process

After all this is taken into account in the design, it is time to adjust the production of aviation equipment that has been tested. The order arrives at the aircraft factory, which has the necessary equipment to carry out the order. However, not one plant will participate in the manufacture of aircraft. Dozens of factories with a narrow specialization can participate. For example, manufacturing aircraft engines, navigation equipment, devices for monitoring the operation of all possible systems in flight. Thousands of parts must be prepared and tested for compliance with the calculated parameters. This is a very important moment.

For example, when manufacturing blades for turbines of jet engines only 3-5% of the manufactured parts will pass technical control. The rest will be rejected and sent for remelting. The quality of the product is subject to maximum requirements. After all, the failure of important details can lead to disastrous consequences.

The things for which they worked

But here our handsome man descends from the assembly line. Years of painstaking work should pay off. On one copy, no one will stop. Dozens will be produced, and maybe hundreds of copies of the aircraft.

The exploitation of aviation equipment will bear fruit. Now is the time to engage in this process well-trained flight crews, ground personnel, who will provide aviation equipment at many airports, airports, radar surveillance and navigation stations.
