There are three basic sizes of clothes: the size S, M, L, which, in turn, are divided into subtypes: XXS, XS, XL, XXL. Men and women have different parameters in these values, in addition, different countries use different numbers to indicate them.

Everyone can calmly pick the right thing for themselves, as in any store there are tables with parameters or they can be seen on the tags of the goods themselves.

The smallest are the following dimensions: the size of S, XS and XXS. The latter does not even have a precise notation. For the second one, female and male sizes are 42 and 44, respectively, according to the system we are familiar with. The most common and popular Is considered Size S (female 44 and 46 male respectively). The average size is M, it is not divided into subtypes, like the others. In the male version, it is 48 traditional trazmer, and in female - 46. And the largest sizes are L, XL, XXL (female - 48, 50, 52, male - 50, 54, 56). Also in some countries the designation XXXL is used for clothes of the largest sizes.

Each of these designations carries information about the volume of a person's figure. For example, consider the size of S. Its parameters in the female version are the following: the breast circumference is 88 cm, the hips are 96 cm in circumference, and the height is 158 cm. There is also a male size S: 92 cm, waist 80 cm, height 164-170 Cm, and neck circumference in the owners of this size is 39 cm.

Best of all, of course, before buying a thing that you are going to wear in the future, try it on. After all, it may be that it does not suit you in color or style. If you do not know what your measurements are, then take a few things at once or consult with the sellers: they will surely be able to help you. But if you buy clothes for someone as a gift, then you need to know the measurements of this person so as not to be mistaken with the size. The easiest way is if it is standard - for example, the size S. Although it will be more reliable, of course, take a friend with him to the store for fitting. You can also give him a discount card so that he can choose a gift that he likes more.
