TravelsTips for tourists

Attractions Hua Hin (Thailand)

I really love the warmth. Every year I dreamed that the summer would not end, but this year stopped dreaming and left for the winter in Asia! At this step, not everyone will decide, it was also difficult for me to go, but I read a lot of information on the Internet, blogs of seasoned independent travelers and with great knowledge loot went to conquer exotic Thailand!

Acquaintance with the country, I decided to start with the royal resort and went to explore the sights of Hua Hin.

Hua Hin is one of the oldest cities in Thailand. It is surrounded on all sides by mountains, which is why it received such a name, meaning "Stone Head" in translation. The climate here is very dry and cooler than in other resorts of the country.

The city began to form here even during the reign of King Rama 4, who decided to build a summer residence for himself on the site of a small fishing village, which determined the further development of Hua Hin as a city.

Hua Hin is only a three-hour drive from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Since here is the summer residence of the king, the city is considered the most peaceful and not criminal city of the kingdom.

Attractions of Hua Hin - this is something that you can talk about without ceasing! And this despite the fact that I only know about tourist places! Unfortunately, I did not manage to inspect everything, as I had to temporarily leave this wonderful city and go to make out a Thai tourist visa to Laos.

Temples and monasteries in Thailand, as a rule, are built on the tops of mountains. The highest situated in Hua Hin is the Buddhist monastery of Khao Krailas and the temple of Sarn Phra Phrom Shrine on the Rock of the Dormant Lion.

Wat Khao Lad, another not less famous temple, is located on the mountain Khao Takiab, where many monkeys live, which are very popular with locals and tourists and because of their huge number even gave a second name to this place - "Monkey Mountain".

After visiting the temples, I went to get acquainted with the biggest and kind animals of our planet - with elephants. Everyone knows that they are the most revered animals in Thailand. On the streets of the city you will not find elephants - it's forbidden, because it hinders the movement. You can see them in specially designated places - in Elephant Village or Safari Park.

This is all for now, I managed to see, but I have plans to visit the Village of artists Artist Village, go to the park, where Mangrove trees grow and plunge into the world of handmade at the exhibition-fair Cicada Market.

If you always rested on the ticket, do not hurry to change something and rush to make plans for future independent travel. Rest in this way is not easy, especially for the first time. You will need to take into account a bunch of nuances, calculate all the dockings in the flights / relocations, book hotels and remember that if something goes wrong, you will not have anyone to claim compensation for the spoiled rest. But this is only two weeks in six months. Are you ready to risk them? If so, first, familiarize yourself with the stories of travelers who have already taken place, as I did. In the journey, their experience helps me a lot.
