Catherine is a native Muscovite. She was born in 1975 in a fairly well-to-do family (Arkharova's father was at the head of a construction company). Apparently, this to some extent influenced the further choice of the profession of the girl.

The girl did not listen to the advice of her parents, gave up her lawyer career and went straight to the National School of Cinematography in Rome. For the Italian cinema, the appearance of Arkharova (an actress - a blue-eyed blonde) was quite exotic, so it was difficult to deny a Russian girl. And in the third year, Catherine was offered the first role in her life: in the Italian film "Night Youth" Katya played a Russian girl Irina, who overcomes life difficulties in an unfamiliar city and goes to her goal.

Catherine admitted that she really wanted to try to make a career in her homeland, so she immediately appealed to one of the capital's acting agencies.

The first major work in Russia for Katya was the role of the detective Tatyana Volkova in the television movie "Private Detective."
