American action movies: watch or not watch

If you are going to spend an evening watching a movie, then this is likely to be an American film. Action, comedy, melodrama, fantasy - tapes of all genres with amazing speed are stamped in the Hollywood miracle factory. It is these films that account for the lion's share of the world's box office, and Hollywood actors are known all over the world. Of course, there are other works - French, English, Brazilian and Turkish, even the domestic cinema gives some signs of life. And yet, according to the level of audience interest, they do not hold out to Hollywood tapes. I would like to note that films from other countries (including Russian ones) are no worse, and often even better. Simply Hollywood is a giant monopoly that does not want to let anyone into its market. In the course are all the tricks: multi-million commercials to support the next tape, remake (remake) of a foreign film with a good story, study of demand, etc.

American militants have long become synonymous with the most base and, to put it mildly, low-intellectual films. And for this there are grounds. Remember the typical American militants of the 80-90's. These tapes were created by one primitive pattern:

1. Unbreakable protagonist. Even a direct shot in the heart or a fracture of the spine (blindness, lameness, amnesia) can not stop his struggle with all the injustice of the world (the universal evil, the main villain, a band of thugs).

2. The use of the most amazing weapons: pistols with endless cartridges, rocket launchers (which "accidentally littered" with a good friend of the protagonist), swords, nunchakas, etc. Moreover, the protagonist excellently knows how to use all these devices and owns different methods Combat: from the secret workings of Shaolin monks to freestyle wrestling with the use of mops and other improvised equipment.

3. American militants are distinguished by a fantastic number of murders by nuclear devices (rockets) - the number of corpses varies from several tens to hundreds of thousands.

4. Abundance of explosions: the helicopter explodes from hit accurately thrown stone, at home - from the stuffed bombs, the machine - just like that. Bikes and mailboxes are exploding.

5. The basis of the plot is revenge.

What is the difference between the US militant of 2013 and its predecessors? In general, the films remained the same: improbably cool main characters, many fights, weapons, explosions. The truth is there is a change for the better: cartridges in weapons began to end (according to at least some logical laws), the number of rocket launchers and hand grenade launchers per one average hero decreased, and the main storylines began to be built not for revenge for their beloved girl (brother , Father, second cousin's second cousin on the maternal line), but on the fact that the main characters accidentally get involved in some unexpected events. It can not be said that it became more plausible (not the genre), but the absence of frank film-works clearly benefited. In general, watch or not watch the American fighters, choose only you. This genre is either loved and accepted with all its shortcomings, or does not look at all.
