Someone attracts more fishing, someone - a normal picnic, and someone just likes to travel with a tent through the mountains. Without fire in the campaign, it is difficult to manage, and therefore it does not hurt to find out what types of bonfires are and which of them will be the most preferable under certain conditions. We believe that this will be very interesting both for beginners and already experienced tourists.

Types of fires and their purpose

As a rule, fire on nature is bred either for lighting, or for cooking, and in rare cases also for giving a sign. From this point of view, we can distinguish the following types of fires: flaming, heat and smoke. The latter can also be used against mosquitoes and mosquitoes, but this requires a lot of experience. It is much easier to bring a bottle of repellent or a portable fumigator. Therefore, we will not consider the smoke types of fires. You can always throw grass, fir paws or raw branches into the fire to get a lot of smoke. But the first and second versions of the use of fire are much more common, and therefore they should be studied in more detail.

Fire fires

In order to dry things, keep warm and create your own masterpiece of culinary art, you will need coals and a high temperature. Here are a few options that will be most suitable for such cases:

1. "Well"

A bonfire of this kind is a quadrangular structure, composed of short thick logs. Inside it put brushwood, small firewood, dry alcohol, dry grass and other kindling. Slowly burning, such a fire leaves a lot of coals that give heat.

2. "Night", or "taiga"

He will need several long logs. They are laid strictly in parallel or at a slight angle. There are several types of folding logs. All types of campfires of this group differ in that they use the principle of interaction between burning surfaces, between which narrow slits are left. Thanks to them, a powerful vertical thrust arises that does not let the heat fade away. Frequent lining this group of bonfires does not require, and this is their main advantage.

3. "Polynesian"

It differs from others in that it is bred in a pit. Its walls are covered with large logs or logs, and at the bottom of the fire is kindled from small twigs. For security reasons, it is best to breed such a fire in the forest. It is also indispensable in rainy or windy weather.

Flamefires

They can also prepare food, but at the same time they are more suitable for lighting. Here are the most popular types of bonfires of this group:

1. "Starry"

He will need about 5-7 thick long logs. Their ends are folded together in such a way that the appearance of the construction is somewhat reminiscent of a star. As firewood burns, they are moved closer to the center.

2. "Shalash"

Firewood is applied to each other so that a cone is obtained. The kindling is placed below. Its disadvantage is that the upper part burns quickly enough. But the flame at the same time turns out to be hot, concentrated and powerful. With its help you can not only cook food, but also give a good coverage of the night.
