Abdominal abscess before childbirth and its main signs

A pregnant woman often hears that the belly should fall. But not everyone knows what it is, and why this happens. And this is important to know, because on examination the gynecologist can ask when the stomach has fallen. Yes, and the woman herself will experience, if she does not own the full amount of information.

Abdominal abscess is a process when the bottom of the uterus descends. This is the first signal about the approach of delivery. Abdominal abscess before childbirth indicates that the fetus is approaching the entrance to the pelvic area. Uterus sags slightly, and its bottom no longer exerts pressure on other internal organs.

As a rule, before birth, changes occur in the hormonal background of a woman. The active development of estrogen begins, which helps to make the birth canals more elastic, contributing to the softening of the cervix.

As a rule, before childbirth the child turns over and drops the head to the lower part of the uterus, and draws it closer to the small pelvis. This suggests that the lowering of the abdomen before childbirth is a sign of making the fetus the most comfortable position. The child is ready to be born.

The main signs of abdominal obtuse before childbirth are as follows:

  1. Disappearance of breathlessness. A woman can already breathe more freely and deeply.
  2. If the mother has heartburn or eructation, she also disappears. Also, the feeling of pressure on the diaphragm, which was an indispensable attribute of pregnancy, begins to weaken and soon does not manifest itself. This symptomatology was associated with the fact that the uterus as a result of pressure on the diaphragm contributed to the displacement of the digestive organs. Therefore there was this discomfort.

However, having released a woman from some unpleasant symptoms, the belly dropping before delivery leads to the fact that the uterus begins to press more on the organs of the small pelvis, causing the emergence of new inconveniences. So, this causes pressure, primarily on the bladder, contributing to the increased urge to urinate. Also, in addition, pressure on the rectum is enhanced. It is only natural that the result of this situation is the more frequent urge to empty the intestine.

A woman, as a rule, feels the descent of the abdomen before childbirth. The abdomen after this becomes firm, there are aching pains in the lower abdomen. Doctors say that the abdomen is lowered about two weeks before the onset of labor. However, the timing is relative: for some women this can happen in a month, and for many, a few days before the onset of labor. If a woman gives birth for the first time, then the omission occurs earlier. If the mother gives birth to a second, or even a third child, this process can occur immediately before the baby's birth.

There are several more signs that the stomach has dropped or begins to drop:

  1. A woman should put her hand between her breasts and belly. If the hand is placed in this space, then there is an omission.
  2. Sometimes the shape of the abdomen changes markedly: instead of round or oval, it becomes pear-shaped.
  3. At the reception the gynecologist who watches the pregnant woman measures the height of the bottom of the uterus. When the parameter of numerical reduction gradually decreases, it means that the stomach is already beginning to drop.
  4. Sometimes a woman can not understand in any way whether her stomach is falling or not. In this case, on a vertical smooth surface (for example, on a mirror), periodically mark the level on which the navel is located from the floor. When this procedure is carried out daily, it is easy to trace the whole process of omission.

Finally, remember that every woman's body is individual, so do not be scared if you do not see obvious signs of omission. It will still happen sooner or later. Maybe even a few days before giving birth.
