What does the fairy tale tell the children about the cub?

Since childhood we remember the famous words "a fairy tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it, a good lesson to good fellows." This expression very accurately describes the important role of fairy tales in the upbringing of children. After all, together with your favorite characters it is much more interesting to learn the world and understand what is good and what is bad. Fairy tales about animals are especially interesting to kids, and the bear is one of the most popular characters not only of Russian, but also of many other folk and author's tales.

Why a teddy bear?

Why is a favorite fairy-tale hero and one of the most popular toys for children of the whole world is a bear cub? Anthropologists have tried to answer this question. In their opinion, the muzzle of a teddy bear is like a baby's face. Big eyes, small mouth and nose. The bear cub resembles a little man with a funny hand on two legs, like a kid who is just learning to walk and endlessly naughty. This is the opinion of modern scholars.

Bear in Slavic Tales

In Russian epics and legends, the bear was often called a forest peasant and was revered as the owner of the forest. Therefore, tales about animals, where the bear appears as formidable, but the wisest and fairest character, were not rare among the Slavs. In fairy tales of a later period, the clumsy man threw off the mysterious halo of the magical and stern master of nature and adopted more human qualities. A lot of such tales have come down to our days. Modern authors also know the predilections of kids and do not change traditions. Therefore, another fairy tale about a cub is always with interest perceived by a children's audience. Let's recall a few favorite stories about a small clumsy hero who teaches children the best human qualities.

About the teddy bear

It was the first spring in the life of a bear cub, he shyly pressed himself against his mother, a bear, walking along the edge of the forest. Everything around looked, smelled and sounded unfamiliar, causing delight and alarm at the same time. Medvedica noticed the fear of her baby and said that he is a brown bear, belongs to the genus of the most powerful and respected inhabitants of the forest, which means that he should not be afraid.

Teddy bear carefully listened to the mother's story about the great and formidable tribesmen and very much wanted to be like them. Suddenly something terribly loud crackled, the bear squeezed his eyes and tried to be brave, but fear took over, and the kid ran at full speed. He ran with his eyes closed, and when he stopped, he realized that he had lost his way.

Mishka is no longer a coward

For a while he called his mother, then, exhausted from screaming, decided to rest and find his way home. So, he walked through the forest and reassured his fear, remembering his mother's words that the brown bear was not to be feared. Of course, a fairy tale about a cub could not be as interesting if he had not met friends.

The first clumsy traveler met a small squirrel. She was crying, sitting on a branch, because she did not listen to Mom, who, going behind nuts, asked not to stick out of her native hollow. It was boring to sit in the dark, and the squirrel chased after a beautiful butterfly, and when I came to my senses, I realized that I was lost. Then the comrades in misfortune met a rabbit, followed by a hedgehog. These kids got curious far from home. So, the small company continued its journey through the forest.

Suddenly the comrades heard the flapping of wings over their heads. A big black raven sat on the branch and loudly croaked. The company of small animals frightened off into a pile, huddled against the trunk of a pine. Only the bear cub, remembering the mother's words about the brown bears, stepped forward, closing his comrades with his back. Seeing the brave pose of the bear cub, the crow first laughed, and then told that he had been looking for babies for a long time at the request of their concerned parents. A wise bird said that friends would stay in place and go for their parents. By nightfall, everyone was already at home, and the bear mother, listening to the story of the bear cub, thought what kind of a brave son, a real brown bear, was growing up.

Curious bear cub

This tale is much like the previous one, only the bear cub was lost, not because of fear. Curiosity was the reason for his adventures. Having woken up in the den before mother of the bear, he decided to explore the world around him. After all, falling asleep, my mother told me so much about an amazing place called a forest. What fairy tale about a cub can do without a wise friend?

Fortunately for the little pathfinder, he met an old uncle of the elk. He told a teddy bear about green trees, bushes, grass and berries that will appear in the spring. While it was early to walk in the woods, the trees were without foliage, and on the ground lay snow. This meant that the bear cub woke up much earlier than the deadline and it was time for him to go home until Mom discovered the loss. They returned to the lair in time, my mother was already starting to toss and could wake up at any moment, then neposade would certainly have got. Everything turned out, the bear cub said goodbye to a new friend and fell asleep sweetly in anticipation of a warm spring.

Tale of two greedy cubs

In a magical forest lived a family of bears. Growing up, two cubs decided to go on a trip to better know the world around them. Mom-bear did not argue and at parting asked the sons in all to be a support to each other. Bear cubs went on the road. While they saw bushes with berries and sweet roots, the path was cheerful and carefree, but time passed and food was getting smaller. In the stomach, it was uncomfortably rumbling and thoughts were only about food.

Suddenly, in a forest glade, one of the brothers found almost the whole head of cheese. Most likely, one of the peasants lost it, returning through the forest from a nearby village home. The find was indeed successful, and it remained only to divide it equally. But it seemed to everyone that only he would divide honestly, and a dispute arose between the cubs.

This fairy tale about the bear cub and his brother, like many others, was not without a cunning fox. She ran from the woods to the noise raised by the brothers. Learning what's wrong, the cheat decided to profit from the stupid bear cubs and offered her help in the delicious find section. Bear cubs agreed. The fissure broke the cheese into two pieces, one was big and the other very small. The brothers began to scold the redhead, that the sharing was unequal, and the cheat promised to fix everything. She took a bite off a large chunk, but the pieces were still not equal, which aroused the bear cubs. The fox continued to bite, again and again, until there were two small but equal pieces left from the big cheese head. She gave them to bewildered cubs, and she, satisfied and satisfied, quickly ran into the forest. The brothers remained hungry and realized that they were punished for their greed by their empty stomach.

The Adventures of Umki

The tale of a white bear named Umka is well known to us thanks to the wonderful Soviet cartoon that told of his adventures. About how Umka tried to catch the seal, about the sad fish-the sun and the star bears. And most importantly, that friendship works wonders. Funny phrases from this tale went to the people, and the lullaby of the bear and to this day moms sing to their babies.
