Vietnam: holidays, reviews and impressions of this wonderful country

Russian tourists only recently discovered such a fabulously beautiful country as Vietnam. Rest, reviews of which have flooded the Internet (if you believe the stories about the endless sandy beaches, the greenery of rice fields, jungles and exotic cities), is amazing. Therefore, many travelers are interested in what can be seen in Vietnam, when it is better to go there on vacation, what means of sanitary protection to apply and, of course, what to see. We will try to consider these questions in turn and briefly answer them.

The main goal, for which Europeans are choosing to Vietnam, is rest. Reviews in LiveJournal and other social networks say that in this country you can just as well and comfortably relax, as in Thailand, but for much less money. Here, too, there are quite a few crimes related to the use of violence, and as much as in the mentioned Thailand, pocket thefts and cases of snatching handbags by motorcyclists. In this sense, the south of Vietnam was especially "famous". Values, credit cards and documents are best kept in the hotel safe, and with them carry a photocopy of the passport. In hotels, of course, the requirements of sanitation are observed. But, nevertheless, you should not drink tap water and even brush your teeth with it. To do this, guests in Vietnam are given bottled water. For the same reasons, care should be taken with ice drinks, since river water could be taken for its production. Officially, those who go on holiday in Vietnam, vaccinations are not needed, but still it is recommended to get a vaccine against malaria and yellow fever.

The Eastern traffic of cars puts in a stupor of the European pedestrian. But the endless stream of motorcycles moves at a low speed. The main thing is do not swear, but move in one direction, so that the drivers are able to coordinate their actions with yours. Another difference between Asian and European life is that it is not customary in Vietnam to demonstrate in public your feelings: frustration, anger and the like. To honor local Buddhist temples, you need to take a hat, and shoes, and clothing for visits to religious buildings, too, should choose the appropriate, modest (this applies to Catholic churches, which are many in Vietnam).

Now a few words about when it's best to come to Vietnam. Rest (reviews, at least in this unanimous) in this country will always be cloudless. Just need to choose a suitable corner of Vietnam. In the south of the country it is usually rainy from May to November, but from December to April the dry season lasts. In the center of the country it is sunny and dry from May to October, and prolonged rains begin only in December.

Even in a small Vietnamese hotel for 3 stars you will get a set of services, which is necessary by world standards for a 5 * hotel. Hotels on the coast always have their own beach and are represented by a complex of bungalows and villas. City hotels usually combine the aesthetic Vietnamese motifs and the colonial style of France.

The beaches of the country give tourists the opportunity to choose a quiet or active holiday. Vietnam, whose reviews are often given by divers and surfers, has a wonderful coast, a rich underwater world and excellent winds for riding on the waves. Massage parlors and SPA-centers will help to combine active rest with health improvement.

Where to go on vacation in Vietnam? The most famous resorts are located on the Chinese beach in Danang and Kia Dai beach in Hoi An district in Central Vietnam, and in the south of the country - on the beaches of Nha Trang and on the island of Fukuok (Bai Dai beach). Also worth visiting are the big cities - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), with their many historical and cultural attractions. In North Vietnam, one of the wonders of the world attracts attention - Halong Bay, which has 3,000 islands. Interested in the history of Asia will be curious to visit the cities of Hue and Hoi An, and wildlife lovers will surely be attracted to the resorts of Danang, where the Marble Mountains, Phan Thiet and Sapa are located.
