This unusual drug has been known for a long time. The drug "Pantocrin", the use of which was popular even in the Soviet Union - one of the most powerful tonic. It is made in three dosage forms.

The preparation is produced in the form of a liquid alcohol extract (50% ethyl alcohol) obtained by drawing out stained deer, noble deer (maral) and red deer from the ungreened antlers (pantos). The "Pantocrine" agent is also produced in the form of a solution for injections. It also goes on sale in ampoules of 1-2 ml. A slightly yellow or colorless transparent liquid has a distinct phenol smell, which is used in this preparation as a preservative. Its content in the solution for injection is only 0.3%.

Issue and tablets (0.075 and 0.15 g) of 50-150 pcs. In a package corresponding to 0.5-1ml of an alcohol extract having 30-35% activity relative to the liquid extract. The drug "Pantocrin", the use of which is recommended for neurasthenia, overfatigue, neuroses, asthenic syndrome, after infections, with hypotension and weak cardiac muscle, is an effective tonic.

This drug is prescribed for oral administration, intramuscular injection and under the skin. Inside use the drug 2-3 r. For 0.5 hours before meals every day for 1-2 tablets. Or 25-40 cap. The medication "Pantocrine", the use of which is contraindicated in angina pectoris, severe atherosclerosis, organic heart diseases, high blood coagulability, diarrhea and severe nephritis, should be used only as directed by the doctor. Do not take the drug for children less than 12 years.

Recently, pharmacies have sold Pantokrin Panthea tablets, which include: 200 mg of pantocrine (extract), stearic acid, MCC and sugar. They are available in 40 bottles. These tablets are whitish-yellow in color and have no risks. This drug is recommended for taking neurasthenia, indispositions, fatigue, neurotic disorders, essential hypertension, increased mental and physical stress, fatigue and renovascular hypertension. A liquid extract intended for oral administration is also sold. It is produced in dark glass bottles of 100, 50, 30 ml.
