The main attraction of Rome is the Vatican Museum

Inside Italy is the smallest state in the world - the Vatican. It is often called "dwarfish", and in translation its name means "a place of fortune telling". The most famous museum of the Vatican is the Gregorian Etruscan. In it is located about eighteen rooms, smoothly passing into each other. In this place you can admire the ancient Greek vessels from the necropolises of the Etruscans, objects of the people's way of life and many other things. No less popular is the Historical Museum of the Vatican. Visiting it, you can see an exhibition of carriages in the palace of Lateran, a collection of exhibits that know about the history of the country, and many other historical memoirs.

All the museums located on the territory of the country, of course, are connected with the rulers - the popes. They tried for their lives to collect the brightest and most valuable works of art, placing them in the appropriate place. Each room stores various memorials of ancient times. In the Vatican you can find sculptures of Ancient Greece and Rome, mosaics, antique figures, sarcophagi, octagonal courtyards and many interesting things. In addition, every person has the opportunity to visit the Vatican grottoes - burials of the Roman popes. Tapestries, galleries of candelabra, apartments of the most famous rulers can all be found by visiting the Vatican Museum. The only place where it is not easy to get to, is St. Peter's Cathedral. To visit him, those wishing to pre-write special applications that are considered for some time (namely two months) and, accordingly, the Vatican Department either admits a person or rejects his application. For example, children under 15 years are forbidden to attend a pagan cemetery.

Each tourist can see all the Vatican Museums, photos of which are provided in special booklets. For example, one of the most beautiful and frequented places is the Vatican Library. There you can find the rarest books, as well as hold masterpieces of world literature in your hands. It is in the Vatican that the most ancient manuscripts in the world are gathered together.

The Vatican Museum, Rome - are integral parts of each other. All roads lead there. In the "dwarf country" are museums Kyaromonti and Pio-Clementino, which are considered one of the most popular. Inside the latter, a marble zoo was built, where the most rare and beautiful animals are stunningly represented. There are also halls of Greek and Roman sculpture, octagonal courtyards on which such masterpieces as Apollo Belvedere and Laocoon are adorned. It is worth seeing at least once in your life, even if you do not profess Christianity.
